this is what realizing the full potential of something looks like..in this case the bass guitar. how can people walk by like nothing is happening? when something special is most definitely happening.

It's important to recognize when you're in the presence of greatness. It's special and important. It doesn't matter what the person is great at. I've seen many of the world's finest bassists play, (geddy, Chris Squire, Flea for examples) live and IMO this guy is their equal.

I can see a lot of coments experssing compassion "the world is cruel and dull people can't stop and just listen to..." The dude looks pretty satisfied at this moment. A lot street musicians already have bands and decent audience to perform for. Street performance helps to build self-confidence. Ability to play in harsh conditions. Social skills etc. Even top musicians do this from time to time. Crowd is passing by, they all have their routine and troubles and they're not oblidged to hang out. I believe, he can easily find the club or other stage to perform for more "prepared" and warmed audience. Id love to see him on the big gig )) Cheers!
