i love this new Clio! the design ... is brilliant!
Did you dress to match the car or was it just co-incidence .
The car that you were driving had a 0.9 tce 90bhp engine, not a 1.2 75bhp ! And it did not have the R-link, it had the Media-Nav. Read the brochure mate.
That dose look nice, I still have a 2005 clio and its MPG is shit and the interior is made of plastic but it is really nice to drive, small enough to fit into tight spaces and was really cheap when I bought it.
A friend has this car and overall it's a pretty nice car.

Would have been a better video if we could actually see the car. Black car, black interior, dark day and no lighting. Great combination!
Manual windows, less electricals to go wrong.
$300AUD and you get electric package..plus its pretty cheap in Australia for what you get.
Not on Renault, they are attached by a steel cable which can rust and snap. dont think you get around it by electrical windows cus renault use cheapest materials for the electrical harness.

I LOVE CLIO
If you are going to buy this car, whatever you do, get the four cylinder engine instead of the standard 3cyl that is rubbish, horrible noise and it shakes the car about when idling. also you can only have auto transmission with the 3cyl

How’s it going after 4 years have you had problems
@@kenhignett1341 My mom has had hers for 2 years and she had it brand new and no problems at all. It does only have 8k miles on the clock though but the only thing she has had to spend on it is fuel (obviously) and servicing. Every time she has it serviced at the dealer they tell her that it is like a new car since she looks after it so well.
Can I get a umbrella fold buggy in the boot and a few bags of shopping? Or would I be better with a captur?

4:45… 8 years later. The Ford Fiesta has an underside like a tea bag whilst the clio looks like new. That’s the difference
Plus the Ecoboost engines are rubbish
I do have to say, just like the Renault Megane RS 265 (presumably on all the Renault range for the current models), it bugs me quite a bit when they have not moved the start/stop button over to the driver's side for the right hand drive conversions. I mean, the freaking start button is on the other side of the centre panel... :\

i must say best review of this car on you tube IMO - we are considering the dynamique s option as trade up from my mrs beloved fiat 500 - we have also driven corsa / fiesta / swift - and the clio wins us over on looks / options available / boot space - the big issue is we are looking to trade in our 500 and the trade in price and the Renault APR on finance of 7% apr makes this a very expensive option say if we stayed with a option from fiat @ 3-5%apr
how will tall drivers manage in this small car?i'm 1.93,i think it's 6.2 or 6.3 converted in imperial.And how is the 75 bhp 1.5 dci to drive?
1:22 Aww.. It is not an R-link!!! It is standard Media Nav system. I have watched maybe 5 or 6 reviews and in every single one reviewer named Media NAV an R-Link. What is wrong with you guys?

Anyone know the music at the begining?
I have the same 1.2 16V 75 engine in my 04-plate Clio, it was introduced in 2001... and it's in a bigger heavier car so of course it's going to feel underpowered!
Anyway as others have pointed out, this is actually the 0.9 TCe 90 turbocharged three-cylinder so should perform just fine...
The newer 2013 Clio is actually lighter than the previous model.. But they must have changed the gearing to make it more economical but made it accelerate slower..
Ahh yes they offer it in both a "regular" engine and "Eco" version

Diesel engines are more efficient. Just a fact.
They're also filthy and a cunt to maintain, we know six years later ;)
0,9L turbo unit is where its at. Same horsepower and still has great l/100km (mpg)!

only a few more days till i get my clio 0.9 expression with clima/rain sensor/key-free.
I test drove it today, great little car. The steering is spot on!
pretty expensive,only the base model is cheap.I don't like the 0.9 tce and the 1.2 tce is out of my price range.With these prices i'm willing to incline to a peugeot 208 1.2 vti.Oh and those plastics on the steering wheel seem very cheap and kitsch

-I remember proper cars where you needed your wits about you to drive, now we have a sat nav screen to take your eyes off the road, cup holders to make sure you drive with one hand while drinking a coffee & blue tooth phones to distract you while you talk to your wife about what’s to eat when you get home, thank god for mobile phones & technology
i think most of the population steer with one hand with the other resting somewhere anyway even in a basic car but for the rest yeah
