I did t know it was safe to use styrofoam to elevate the rocks and use it as a platform. I always thought it may breakdown in the water. Great idea! I’m currently planning my 30 gallon cube tank and I’m using all black lava rock as well and trying to figure out how to give it height.

Thanks so much. Even when I planned it I didn't imagine it looking like this. I must do an update video, it not only looks great, but there's been zero issues either. Apart from the Apisto messing around with the aquasoil, the scape looks identical still! What projects have you got lined up?
Aquarium Shed Only growing out the butterfly telescope fry at the minute. I’ve ordered a divided 4ft tank though so I’ll start some new breeding projects then
@@Mountain_Aquatics Nice one. I am really hoping my Apistos will breed in the Scapers Tank setup, but she just doesn't seem interested. Do have some micro scape videos on the horizon tho!

Is that Dwarf Sagg you used?
Yessiree. It's Tropica Dwarf Sagg which I rescued from my upstairs tank when I rescaped it for the Mbuna. I quite liked just using one type of plant. I've since added to it but I don't think it looks as good now! Thanks for watching. 👍

Hiya, it's a Dennerle Nano Cube. There's an Ebay link in the description which is for the ProShrimp listing. I think it might be slightly cheaper direct from their website so long as you get to the minimum free delivery amount. I love these tanks because of the curved front edges. All of my basement tanks are Dennerle. Glad you like the scape, it's one of my favourites! 👍

Not a silly question at all, don't worry! Dennerle is a German aquarium manufacturer and they make a range of tanks with good scaping proportions and the lovely curved front edges which I really like. I'm not sure how freely available their tanks are throughout the world, but certainly quite common in Europe! Thanks so much for watching! 👍
