Started my dump trailer hustle back in February after watching your shows for six months started with my 2014 F150 3.7 L V6 eco-boost pulling a brand new top shelf trailer 16 foot with 4 foot walls. It weighs 4500 pounds empty. Just upgraded to a 2020 F250 with the 6.2 V8 gas motor.
Completely agree I didn’t want all the expenses that comes with the diesel. My brother-in-law had that catastrophic failure in his diesel and it cost him 10 grand

How do you like that gas motor? Right now I’m in between a 6.8 and the 7.3 L gas.

Buy the Cummins diesel. Best diesel between the big 3 for reliability. Ford makes changes to that powerstroke about every other year it seems.
Love my big dually! 2004 model Cummins with over 300k on the clock. Keep it maintained and it will run with the best of them.
Definitely a lot better motor with a lot less to go wrong with it back then for sure
