In Phoenix a ten yard dumpster rental for a week is average 350. Google your average cost of dumpster rental in your area. Do not under sale your time, and value. This may look easy. But you have lots of risk and equipment. You can always rent a truck and trailer or a trailer pretty much anywhere to start out. You are not making any profit. You are not figuring in your cost or business. Seriously insurance, gas, labor. Have you reached what people are making in your general area?
Hey man, I just came across your channel as I’m about to start my own business as a landscaper/rental business. I am about to purchase a Lamar dump trailer and I have a few questions. How do you price your jobs? Do you have a set fee or do you price by job? Also, do you have business insurance? Contracts for the work you do? I just need some guidance but out of all of the research I’ve done you seem to be doing exactly what I have my eyes set on. Thank you for taking the time to post these videos as I’m sure that they help a lot of us entrepreneurs make a living for ourselves.
Rocks are your heaviest item. I don't even do it cause such a chore but your charge by weight . Man if you learn this right you could do a lot for those puppies.
Yeah! I will try to work this into a video and also plan to start a discord for the community where we can all share this kind of stuff and help eachother out.
@@AceHigh45 Hey you use Google. No one knows your area. And don't be rude. No one has to help. So Google if you have to have what ever your asking in your city and state.
For the most part, yes. I don't do this full-time so I can't speak on that but it got to the point where I had to take a breather. I think a good sized to start with would be a 7 x 14 with minimum 7k axles. I'll go overall this in a future video as I'm getting a lot of comments like this.
@@Haroldsheavyduty I just found your channel and had the same question! Wishing you all of the best of luck from Florida! I just subbed to follow your progress!
The people who put these BS stories on line must be sales people you can rent a dump trailer for 100 dollars a day and guess what, what you ask they don't rent them out everyday ,are you really going to spend up to 20,000 dollars on a piece of equipment with no experience,if you over load them they won't dump if you dump on uneven ground you cand bend the ram or twist the frame and then guess what your trailers worth ,you can pull it with a half ton if your hauling grass and leaves otherwise you need a 3/4 ton and up also you need a 4 wheel drive or you risk getting stuck these ads are very misleading.

I can make a video that covers all these questions here in the next couple weeks!

I just purchased a 7x14 dump trailer and I was wondering if you could give me a example a contract i could tweak to fit my business.

Can u answer questions like, “Do you need a cdl to operate those trailers?” And “Do you need a dot # to operate these trailers and truck combo?”.
Yeah i can
Depends on where you are located. Just Google it and your city and state.

Not to be weird, but I really like this guy!
Thanks! 🙏
Do you feel like you have steady work with this side Hustle and what size trailer would you recommend???

Do you charge before, like a deposit or do you get paid in full after delivery job is done?
It depends on the job but at a minimum I will not dump the rock before they pay me if they have not done a deposit.
@ I do like your idea of taking pictures for the client before loading. I’m subscribed and love watching your videos, keep them coming
How do you find your jobs?? Is there any app for it? Thanks a lot in advance

Do you charge? per hour? Per load? Or per mile? Or flat fee?
Flat fee and then a delivery charge most times I believe
Seems to be very location dependent.
300 for the renovation job rental, how many days was that?
They typically get 3 days to use it
Nice 👍 what size trailer you have?
7x14 tandem 7k axles
$350 1-3 days
