Well, it looks like it's not as big of a mess as this year's SAGE. Then again, this IS a hacking contest, so there is a semblance of organization and consistency.

I actually have Sonic Mania on Steam now and the Mania Mod Manager. So I can actually play Sonic Mania mods now. I can also play SA1 and SA2 mods as well.
Looks like we're in for a good time this year! They all look really cool, just wish I could play the-KLONOA!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I literally went nuts when they showed off the Dubious Depths mod, we finally get to play it after so much curiosity and oomph from the visuals that fans cooked up! Speaking of fans, those mods of Dubious Depths that they made were a buildup to the main event, like the Thanos Saga from the MCU in a way!
Hoping the mod can cooperate with the IOS/Android version of Sonic CD, knowing that its one of the Christian Whitehead widescreen ports along with the PC and Console Versions and that its the only version of Sonic CD I have. If not, then hopefully I can tap in with Steam and try to buy it from there and also get the mod and plug that in (along with a couple of others, if I can merge mods together like in Sonic 3 A.I.R) for the definitive Sonic CD experience because I'm planning to play some Sonic games in a definitive way for a bigger and better pleasure.
Aside from that, can't wait to see it in action and if it is in action, might as well give it a watch and have my eyes and ears be in for the ride of their lives with the visuals and the chill yet bumpin' soundtrack!
Fan, not fans, but thank you! But the mod only works on PC and on decompiled CD, version 1.3.1, so even through Steam you won’t be able to play. (also, I don’t even understand what “like the Thanos Saga from the MCU in a way!” means)
@@ExtraBadnik What I meant by Fans and “like the Thanos Saga from the MCU in a way!” is that there were previous mods of Dubious Depths/Relic Ruins made by other fans (or maybe 1 fan, idk how many mods I even saw) and that those previous mods were a buildup to your mod which I already like. My apologies, I have ASD so some things I say just sound a little jumbled up until I explain the meaning behind it :P

It's a demo that's fairly close to the first release. We're calling it V0.9 for that reason.

I just hope it doesn't have a weak retro presence, it's precisely because of this modality that I follow SHC. Last year there was a lot of 2d PC, it even looked like Sage, I stopped watching it because it got repetitive with the A.I.R.

Well, I've looked through the entry list, and I can say that there is going to be a majority of Retro entries for this year! Over 20, across Contest and Expo, with over 15 of them being just for the Contest!
However, while there is a majority of Retro entries, technically, I'd say distribution is pretty even, with a slight minority of 3D entries, as far as I know.
