Being sponsored by Unity must be a huge honour Also you should make a video using the winners recording and put the best or some moments in it whilest congratulating the winner This is content and also a way to let other people know the challenge is over
The fact that Unity is the sponsor of a very nice community focused indie project... 😂 I'm using Unity for over 2 years now and love it, but I'd rather loose my experience and workflow than supporting the former EA garbage See you all in Godot 😢
It's cool but I have to be able to change key bindings.. For example, I'd like to move using arrow keys (right handed) and jump with space (left hand)?
The real super meat boy that we was waiting for Context : super meat boy is a good hard game and their second game called super meat boy forever was so easy and it's control is lame with only 2 buttons with low skill cap unlike the main one . The game they made is Bretty similar to super meat boy but it don't have the bad stuff in super meat boy forever and still seem interesting and good with a familiar stuff that actually players won't have struggle adapting to
Hello there ! I buy the game few months ago, didn't even beat him in practice mod yet. First I would like to say congratulations for the music, the mood and that beautiful ambience you guys put in the game. Just one question, I will be greedy but there is any chance to get a map for the future? Honestly i'm lock at the quiz part, it will be cool if I can check the map, it will help me a lot. But maybe is not your vision and I will completely understand sir !
2:34 how do you set up this kind of tilemap, this looks so much nicer and more efficient than the basic one. The way you are making pathways inside the background with outlines is so crazy! And i see your pallete window is not even open.
It’s the default tilemap, I just made a large rectangle and filled it, then I’m using the eraser tool to “carve” out the level. The tool palette is off-screen
I keep getting gifted memberships to channels somehow, and one of them was a channel I never heard of (not this one), ans I got a membership for this channel!
I played this game before it came out (i'm a member, become a member if you want to support AIA and maybe get access to future games like me) and it was HARD so goodluck to everyone trying to beat it. You're gonna need it 😉 9:25 am i famous like little clone now!? :D
How do you work in so many projects at the same time? Do your days have more hours than mine? 🤣 It's a very cool concept for a game, instead of pay to win, win to get pay 🤣
Lol this was intentional. I have friends really into it RN and I can’t get into it because I feel like I’m playing candy crush in the menus half the time.
Very disappointed to later discover this video and project was sponsored by Unity. Their fee adjustments are prone to kill indie development using the engine and introduce so many unnecessary risks, not to mention the allegations of insider trading for those who sold shares and left the company before the controversial announcement! I am truly baffled by Unity's decision, and it's immediately turning developers towards alternative development tools. Seems a bit disingenuous to make a game where theres a financial prize for beating it, when as a developer you would be expected to pay Unity for every install of the game! Otherwise love the video and the concept for the game! Its really fun!
The unity sponsorship was "taken" well before all those announcements, and the sponsorship section is basically just illustrating some tools that can be used so I don't see the harm in it
@@Furetto126I completely respect that and understand the sentiment, but it's difficult to disentangle the release (and Unity sponsorship) of The Hardest Game Ever with Unity's current fee decision. Full respect to all involved developers! It's a lovely game and truly great fun to play (I've left a steam review!), but I am not happy about any support or advocacy for Unity at the moment with their massively negative, market-impacting decision.
@@spinballwhizzkidsI get what you are saying! I personally think we should give a bit of time before jumping to conclusions before seeing if everything is like what we are thinking is going to be, or at least staying open-minded and not going to shame etc the indie dev that use it (which is something thankfully you aren't doing :D)
@@Furetto126 Yeah I just think there needs to be solidarity between developers to call out Unity to reverse this decision. Cult of the Lamb devs, Rust devs and Slay the Spire Devs have already spoken publicly about how disastrous the new fee policy is and how big a breach of trust it's creating in the indie scene. They really messed up and it's a real shame that The Hardest Game Ever is indirectly getting caught up in this! Anyway I've said enough and am ranting 🤣
When started working on the project and decided to get sponsored by unity, no one knew that unity was going to do such a huge mess with thiss fee change. I’m really sad the timing of unity’s fee change announcement and the release of this video is so bad. Real bad timing

This is amazing. I won't have much time to play or even compete but I bought the supporter pack anyways to show my support.
Thank you man, really appreciated!!
