I got this strategy that kind of works. Although your units need to be tanky. Basically avoid using any merlin cards for as long as possible. I don't know the reason, but eventually rng starts to favour her above the other characters. Sometimes that is. Is it an effective strategy? no. but it's better than nothing
For Ban and Elaine as well as Escanor, I can only be bothered to do enough to get their cosmetics. I don't even care about not getting the hammers or purple stones. Takes too much time.

Hey, Seatin. I managed to beat Hard mode with Blue Lillia, Blue Mono, Red Gowther, and SR Blue Eren Jaeger. Even managed to put out enough damage in the first phase off of Eren Jaeger to completely circumvent Escanor's invincibility tactic. Only problem was I really needed to get Gowther to use Invasion Arrow to boost Jaeger's stat booster ability.
@@renepascal13 I think your runs aren’t successful because Derieri has a lower health pool than your other units? It may be a good strategy, but if she doesn’t have a high enough amount of health, she’s going to always be targeted
if whales are already having a hard time I would think that this boss is not F2P friendly. with that being said. UNLESS you have all this specific units by RNG draw then good for you. I can't even beat his 1st phase i've already lost like 1k stamina retrying with any of my teams. If I can't do beat him on hard on another 1k stamina. I'm seatin this down. nevertheless thanks for the guide my good sir.

Just got the 3 arcangels in from he ass meli banner, but only one copy of tarmiel, now i gotta make the defece set for tarmiel before even attempting to try this team xd
I somehow pulled mono (and nanashi) from my 1 free draw, i used goddess liz, mono, green gowther and blue sr jericho and got 3.9k points after many tries, also, just so you know, I'm pretty sure you need 100%+ crit chance to crit first phase and can't crit second stage

can you please make a video about how netmarble lied in the 1/27 devnotes where they said they would make festival banners the same or better? They took out the new year heroes and replaced them with a couple bad commandments and thats not at all better
@@BotLaneTaken Only because people just accept it when netmarble makes them worse compared to jp. Seatin used to care as shown with the #ammeliboycott but it seems like he just stopped caring after that
they said equal value or better. New years units are bad. Some of the commandments added are "bad" so it is equal. I have the new years units and honestly theyre useless. Youre not missing out on anything. Some might argue that removing the new years units made the banner better and i would not disagree with that.

This Final Boss made me realise how bad a player i am, despite summoning on units to help me with the content they are designed for. I can clear Ext, but not Hell. I just want to validate my summoning decisions, but don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Its all about progression. I started August 2020 and I was in the same boat as you. After playing consistently as a f2p I'm finally able to do hell difficulty last month. If you can't beat him on hell do extremem. Can't on extreme? Do hard. Can't on hard? Work on your roster and keep progressing and try again when they rerun him. No need to stress!
I used blue liz blue king (the one you get from story) and blue mono with marmas sup and hp food. It worked for me while all other teams didnt as i font have them or tvey are too low. Maybe some of you have those and cqn do it with that
There is one guy on global who is lvl 70 and used Bdemon Meli, G Merlin and B Lilia and has 30k points on this final boss, is this viable or did he cheated somehow?
I literally am using blue mono, sariel, and merlin with goddess liz as a backup and cannot do it no matter what i do, all have 5 star +5 gear and sariel is level 75 but that shouldnt be an issue, i also have red merlin and both gowthers and tried it with all of that i just cant do it. He hits like a truck in both phases even if i use health food. I havent even beat it once and only gotten to phase 2 like 5 times. Ive attempted it at least 30 times
Like im sorry i dont have tarmiel, is used another team you showed in the other video, swapping tarmiel for the red gowther, does not work at all. Just get ulted or cucked by not enought damage every time, i have 193k cc, so idk what to do
oh my god. i thought ban was annoying but escanor is next level annoying. He is so unnecessarily difficult. Honestly the most bs part of this fight is the ult seal in phase 2. This fight would be a lot more manageable without it but the fact that i have to make it through phase 1 which is tough enough and then get to phase 2 and hope he doesnt kill me in those two round or drain my ult is just insulting. Took me about 10 tries to beat it with the red gowther variant because i dont have tarmiel. Did almost 3 full rotations and got am meli 6/6 but could not get a single tarmiel. I scored 4197/10.84 percent and am praying to god that its enough to stay in top 15% because i dont want to do that again.

Above Escanor's head, you can see the middle skill icon has a gold border, which signifies it is a rank 3 card. Silver is rank 2, bronze is rank 1. Red is a special skill unique to that boss. This applies to all enemies in the game. You can use the colors to help you gauge if any rank decrease skills will work for you.
I've loads of characters. Tried different teams , got wiped out on hard in first phase. And how do you 237k cc? I've a team fully super awakened. Plus ur gear and it only hits 182k.
I can't believe anyone has had ANY success using Derieri on this fight. Even on the easiest setting he can 1 shot her turn one by cancelling her evasion with cruel sun lol

To anyone trying to finish the special missions, all you have to do is to fight him, then forfeit the battle. Do it 3 times.

this team is hard when you have 2/6 thermial and sarial, it was soo hard i had to use regen food to i wont keep dying

It doesn't matter if you can't beat escanor. All you have to do to get the mission requirement is join the fight 3 times then forfeit.
this final boss is draining my stam pots like hell. Even on extreme i only managed to finish a couple of times. One misplay or bad rng and i'm done.

Because of how the character works it's always triple defence. Plus Tarmiel heals up based on his defence

I found out that you can Kill Escanor Stage 2 on Hard with a Golden Freeze Plus a Silver Single Target Sariel Card
At around 7mins you said Esc had a gold card. Where do you see that?

phase 2 escanor removes debuffs on his turn if you're talking about the rollback card, but his ult should work normally
