@@stevenfriedman2902 It's not. The "Autonomous" part of the name is a dub only change to make it fit with the lip syncing the first time Beerus name calls it. In the translated subtitled version, it's simply Ultra Instinct. But it's actual Japanese name is Migatte No Gokui. Which, when directly translated, means something along the lines of "The Principle of Self-Benefit" or something like that. Either way, "Autonomous Ultra Instinct" is actually VERY far off the mark lmao

Since you weren’t around watching this stuff when this ep aired it’s difficult to describe just how hyped everyone was for this around the world. This ep LITERALLY broke the internet when it came out. The god damn UA-cam servers were having trouble keeping up with all the traffic. Major cities aired the ep in their town squares with crowds of THOUSANDS of people watching chanting gokus name in sheer bliss and catharsis. Dragonball isn’t just an anime, I’m convinced it’s as close to a religion that a piece of modern media can get. “THATS WHY HES THE GOAT!!!”

BUT WITHOUT THE AURA, and with a different art style, MUI looks better when it looks more like SSJG, calmer and without too much glamour, it just looks a bit too much when he's without the shirt, white hair, and the exaggerated aura

Agreed. I think what made sign cooler for me was that it was more subtle, while the mastered UI just looks like a super-saiyan re-skin with silver hair, following the endless hair changes.

It doesn't make it bad, per se, but it's following a long line of transformations that get diluted down, more or less, to the next in the line of the
Yellow->Red->Blue, and now silver hair transformations.
I like that UI sign's appearance and general fighting style made it seem more like a true upgrade to his base form and combat instinct to signify UI as a technique independent of a generic Saiyan power up.

There are more episodes in the works now, and idk if this is 100% factual but there were already supposed to be some episodes out by now but because toei got hacked and because of drama between shueisha and some people that worked directly under toriyama everything sort of got delayed, but there are supposed to be two new shows in the works one scheduled for the end of this year or beginning of next and one for 2025, plus more movies
I think one of the shows are supposed to take place after super super hero, and the other is the stuff from the manga that hasn't been animated yet which takes place after broly but before super super hero
