    You can stop the sagging by adding a post on bering end then run run a cable to the other end near the torch. Use a turn buckle to tighten the cabe.

    I like the additional support to hold up the arm. I think I will add that as well but need some way for it to fold out of the way as I add all the material to be cut from that end.

    That was a great video. Thanks for making it and also for sharing your files to print out the parts that you customized for the build. Im just about finished collecting all the materials. Im having trouble finding the 2-1/2 .120 square tube . Im in Lake Havasu City, Az and there is limited material availability without buying full sticks of steel.

      Id recommend looking for a local fab shop and ask them if they would be willing to sell you some if they have it. At my shop, we had that happen before and we were more than willing to sell them the exact length they needed. It probably won't be that expensive even compared to a local steel supplier

    How big of air compressor are you using for your cnc? What pressure are you using as well? Thanks, great build. Gonna start on mine soon. Have the plans collecting parts.

    Cool, i have the same issue like you had. I was looking for a solution for the railing and you it is exactly what i will do. Could you, if you want, make a comment including the stl file for the bearing holder, so i will not have to design it.
    Thanks, you make my day 😅

    you're using the ct2050 on the table but you also have a CUT-65DS. Does this mean the CUT-65DS is no suitable, at least for thinner and lower duty cycle cuts? CUT-65DS is a lot cheaper.

  • @oldbuddyben
    @oldbuddyben 2 місяці тому

    Does the cut55DS Pro also have the ability to be controlled for CNC use? that feature is eluding me in the specs listed on the web site. Cool video. definitely something I'd look into building someday.

    hi, I love my Yes Welder combo machine and I would like to use its plasma cutting option to make this CNC cutter .. you are using the CUT-65DS .. will the CT2050 work in this application?

    I bought the high frequency non pilot arc one for building this table around 5 months ago. I think I screwed up there. I notice now there is a non high frequency option. I can get it all to work until the plasma arcs and then it shuts everything down!

    • @harbaughsworkshop
      @harbaughsworkshop Рік тому +3

      With the plasma cutter, make sure it is Non-High frequency or “blowback” and make sure it is CNC compatible or can actually be converted to work with a CNC. HF will mess with your electronics

    Hi than si for the great video, one question in the plans in the electronics includes the THC ?

    • @harbaughsworkshop
      @harbaughsworkshop Рік тому +2

      They have not released the THC yet. I do know they are working on it now and trying to perfect it before releasing it to their subscribers. I do not know if this will be part of the original plans or not. Only they can answer that. I have every plan on updating this machine once they release it. Keep an eye out on my channel. I will do an update when it's released

    good job, I'm looking for some inspiration.
    as I first spot this on JD’s Garage chanel, I was wondering why he did not make second gantry on the oposite side. it is not good to leave the end unsupported, just floating.
    and my 1st question is. is this diy copy of Langmuir's Crossfire or vice versa?

    • @denslod2930
      @denslod2930 6 місяців тому

      Crossfire doesn’t make them, they buy them from a company in China, Hawui or something like that.
      The sag is not the aluminum, check the weight per foot.
      It’s Your printed parts and adjustments.
      Last, when your not using the cutter, brace the end. Plastic can sag.

    What is the thickest steel this will cut?

    • @harbaughsworkshop
      @harbaughsworkshop Рік тому

      The dimensions are 30"x 28". The thickness of the material depends on your plasma cutter. The YesWelder CT2050 clean cut over an inch thick
