Small clarification for loadout swapping without losing ability energy: you need to use all the same fragments and aspects in the same slots for every build. Even having the same choices but in different slots (like keeping your fragments but having them in a different order) will reset your cooldowns, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to swap to a surge loadout before DPS and lose their well lmao.
Orpheus rig with a staggered moebius quiver is up to 3 shots of 6 seconds which gives total debuff of 18 seconds compared to the 12 seconds from deadfall. If there’s no problem getting enough orbs to ensure the super is always available for dps it could be useful to ensure a 30% debuff for longer.

Grand Overture is a wonderful gun for both heavy ad clear when it's getting thick on the ground, and for doing intense burst damage; a damage phase under 15 seconds and literally nothing in the game can beat it. Parasite hits hard - once. The Overture can hit hard twice. And it's a great gun just for kililng larger ads on the way to the boss, it one shots a lot, and charges up the rockets as you go. Plus, you don't have to flush all the rockets in one go, you can fire them 5 at a time so that really rips through ads if you get totally inundated. But, it does require some getting used to, and you probably want to be on an arc class.
I would say that in a day 1 raid race, Cataclysmic should almost always be used over Taipan. Firing Line is only a 20% damage buff while Bait n Switch is a 35% damage buff
If you are moving, and on oddly timed dps phases (A.E. Warpriest and Golgy), having something that is just UP like firing line when near teammates is underrated IMO
For longer DPS, I highly suggest the Stasis sniper that Banshee is selling alongside a Bump in the Night with Field Prep & Frenzy if you have the craft or roll for it. Otherwise, Red Herring is currently craftable
Other suggestions for potential uses -agers scepter -Polaris lance, I’m not to sure how good it’s damage with ignitions is but if it’s good for dps I imagine having 5 or 6 would be crazy for damage -Two tailed fox -thoughtless, although not kinetic the use can be seen in a moment I didn’t have much else to saybecause you pretty much covered it all in this one for weapons -the new warlock gloves are absolutely cracked with a full team of stasis weapons and absolutely be utilized if possible. If the dps phase is shorter one player should have these on with stasis and pop it before the damage starts and all players are in the well. (The well user should have gally) The other players must all have stasis weapons whether it’s thoughtless palmyra or bump in the knight or reeds regret. The person who pops winters wrath to most optimally be able to do damage as well should cancel their super by switching subclasses, either to wellock with starfire and deal damage, or just swap and swap back.
My day 1 team has three Titan mains. Certainly you wouldn't want three banner shields for DPS, unless it's gonna last crazy long, so I would assume cuirass thundercrash would be the way to go for at least one or two of the Titans right? Planning to run HOIL arc Titan and then just swap to cuirass for damage phase
Wither on the ground was nerfed hard, doesn't do nearly as much damage. Using Osteo as a replacement would be better, or something like Ager's if the other warlock uses the well.
Alternatively, to avoid saving weapons to loadouts, you can slot in weapons you don’t plan on taking to the raid and then store them on another character since it can’t pull items from them.
Or use crafted guns (perhaps not with enhanced perks yet) and when the loadouts are done, go rework those guns. The mechanism for "crafting" seems to just be that Bungie gives you a different gun with the perks you wanted on it. At least in DIM, DIM sees an entirely new weapon.
Could you detail the plans for your other warlocks a bit? I understand that at least 2 will always be on well, but if a third well isn't providing value, should they swap to void or strand for dps? I want to say strand, but not being able to use osteo striga or a strand weapon makes me think that might make ad clear tough
Y’all should cycle in Lumina if it turns out Linears are still the way to go. Btw what do I do wrong with my loadouts? It always eats my super and abilities.
They should make the load out system but for armor sets for example you could get together a couple of really cool looking fashion sets and switch between them at will, idk it's just an idea I have, what do you think?
If you dont have blues for the loadout place holders, just put a random weapon in the slot, and then move that weapon to another character. The in game load-out manager doesnt recognize items stored on your other characters, but will find them in the vault.
@@thebuttaman3993 just an alternative people can use and something to be aware of if you use/plan to use the same weapon on multiple characters loadouts
Like having loadouts in game but definitely not enough slots, with 8 that gives you only one loadout for each subclass element and then 3 leftover slots
So one question: I’ve noticed that without a scav mod, you only get like one or two shots for a rocket. I’m wondering if you think it’s worth running one scav and two surges or just cutting your losses and running three surges?
Scav mod guarantees two rockets and can sometimes give you three (for full bricks, not sure about ammo finders). At least for aggressive frames. I usually take one over three surges.
Just do as he said in the video? Make loadouts for pre-DPS (farming ammo with finders), DPS (surges), and post-DPS (scavengers + shoot to loot trace rifle to pick up all the ammo)
I have crafted forbarence and I don't enjoy using it. Have been too spoiled by autoloading models. Plus on some terrain the wave frames do not do what you want sometimes and are useless on airborne enemies.
@@andrew1250 ta for insight. Why Deadfall over Tripple Shot? I get that Deadfall now lasts longer but Tripple has it's own damage and if you stagger your shots it can also reach up to 12 sec no?
Mainly so we don't block line of sight. If the triple shot causes people to miss 2 - 3 shots then you lose the damage you get. Hunters will also spend more time in super animation when they could be dealing damage.
Just gonna ask again real quick if you think a god-rolled Snorri is as good as Null Composure. I have it, it reloads heckin quick, hits super hard, and I am just sick and tired of running Null
Null is just better because of the charge rate and because it manages to still hit for similar damage. I only really run rapid fire fusions, otherwise I tend to go for something else. But if you like it, then it's fine! Null is usually just used for add clear. But overall I wouldn't say it is "as good", probably slightly worse.
