Very exciting! Translating my English videos into my native language (Italian) resulted in a hilarious output, but I can see how it can improve rapidly.
I absolutely LOVE the ken Burns effect and the new auto cam! I found the auto cam with my own templates to be a bit buggy, but surely this will be fixed down the road though ✌️

If there is a “teleprompter” option that would be kind of cool! Submit a script, and as you record, you see the script scroll through like a teleprompter. The AI eye correction is great, but is not perfect, so at times my eyes look off. This is not a must by any means I already think Descript is AMAZING

Yes, we're working on it. How will you use this? Can you point me to videos that you'd like to translate w/ lip sync, where translated captions or audio isn't cutting it?
@@andrewdmason We create how-to videos in a niche that has broad international appeal. Providing a drop down selector to change the captions language, is by far the simplest way to serve our non-English audiences. But now as UA-cam is pushing forward with lip-synced, voice-cloned real-time switching of both the audio AND the video tracks, I am at the stage of thinking how we might start down this path with our membership content. It would definitely add to our workflow (and costs). What I'm not yet sure about, is if the quality will be high enough for our non-English audiences to be fine with watching AI converted versions of our teaching content, or not. They may prefer to continue listening in English while reading transcripts in their own language... much like how many people still prefer to watch foreign films in the original language with captions turned on. Especially with how-to content, I wonder if there will always be an element where students are (also) wanting to practice their English while they learn whatever it is that teaching topic is focused on. Things that make me go hmmm... 🤔 Do you know of any research or case studies that have started to drill down into this school of thought?
I like using music in the background but I am having a bad time adjusting volume of music. I've used ducking but I cannot balance to my voice. Is there something I am missing?
This is really great, it would be great if you can bring parity pricing as $25 in US is not same in India, it's average weekly pay for individual here. Hope it helps.
Please add ability to modify studio sound on different parts of a recording. Sometimes different people on the same clip need different amounts of help.
Great stuff, thanks! I would love the ability to underline, bold, or italicize, maybe even highlight (gasp!) individual words in captions for emphasis. Oh, and the ability for grouping, linking, and locking layers would be a huge help. Thanks!🙏🏼
You can, it's just a PITA. Create a sequence and apply the reverb to a track, and then move the portion of your clip that you want to have reverb onto that track. Agree it needs to be better.

I tried to open the web version but got error message about unsupported browser. I'm using firefox. Which browser is required?
Right now Chrome, Edge, Arc, Opera are supported. Safari might be supported soon
