The 28 ways we made Descript easier and better at Season 6

We just released a major new version of Descript. The headline feature is called Underlord. It's an AI assistant that does a lot of your editing for you. But as part of this redesign, we snuck in a ton of quality of life improvements. Not major new features, just little things to the design that make Descript more delightful to use. Hi, I have a paid plan, where do I find chat support.
It's mentioned in the 'contact us' section of help, but there's no link or help with where to find chat support...

Also, - why I want chat support:
How do you cancel an upload once started. I can't seem to find a 'cancel upload' option, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
The upload was then auto transcribed which has taken up some of my paid minutes - I've turned the auto transcribe off now.
Also, - How do I delete a video file in my project.
Every time I right click and choose 'Delete' I get the error message:
'File can not be deleted.
Files cannot be deleted while they're being referenced by compositions or sequences. This file is being referenced by (exclamation mark icon) [name of project].
How do I remove the video from the composition or sequence - the timeline is empty.
I can't seem to delete any files without deleting the whole project?
I appreciate any guidance.

Lots of good changes, but one thing you took away is that captions no longer reflect italics in the text. I'm a writer who strictly adheres to the "Chicago Manual of Style" guidelines, and I need to display italics in the captions for book titles and to emphasize words. When will this be added back in?

Ever since the very beginning of Descript, I've been blown away by its capabilities. And I've been continuing to marvel ever since watching the updates, even though I haven't started using it yet! Please don't ever sell your company to venture capitalist a**holes or some horrid growth-and-profit-before-customers behemoth like Adobe. Stay amazing!

Thanks for explaining, I find myself using your app more and more, eventually I would like the replace Final Cut Pro with your app as its development is so slow vs even what your company is doing, never mind the industry.
