Excellent video. To the point ... no time wasted. And, I totally agree about the crappy AI that every app seems to be adding. Would love a tutorial on using Descript for editing. I use it so that I can rough edit videos using the text transcription, then bring the file into Camtasia to add text, etc. Descript's interface is less ituitive, at least form me.
What about using riverside for video podcasts (not remote interviewing but rather me talking to the camera). Do they have any special audio mixing features that make it worthwhile since I wouldn't need the remote recording capability or do you know of anything that might help with this? I'm planning on trying out descript for video editing my youtubes!
Descript - videocreator.tools/descript

I record and edit my solo content with Riverside. Super easy and great features that help me work faster.
I’m trying to start a podcast, I just can’t choose between Riverside, Descript, or Stream Yard.
Can you speak to which is easier to generate clips/reels from long form video to post to other platforms? …does descript have a magic clip feature?
Yes @Descript does have a magic clips feature…and you can decide how many clips too.
