This song talks about how, no matter what we do, God will always has loved us and will continue to love us. If we ask him to become our Savior, and believe in our hearts that he is God, the one and only, and that he sent his son to die on the cross for our sins, then one day, when we die or the Rapture comes, we will be in Heaven for forever with God. Because of his grace, we are "Forgiven". Fellow Christians, this is something to rejoice about! Spread the good news! Don't let the world pass you by! Rejoice!
I wish they'd play Relient K on the radio more often. On my local radio station, this is the only Relient K song they play, and they only play it maybe once every other day :(. It's a great song, but there are so many more that they never even look up.
If God can forgive OUR atrocious sins... we should be able to forgive others... Let's leave the judging to God and LOVE eachother! This SOng is awesome!!!!

i almost cried when i first heard this song it was absolutely amazing..i wish ppl heard this song and it was more popular this is the what music should be about..not stupid rap songs but i do like rap so i cant say i hate rap..lol i just wish more ppl would listen to better more meaningfull music :)
So true. Relient K is amazing. It's rare for a Christian band to actually play good music. Alot of other Christian bands may have good lyrics...But the instrumentals are just so so. But not Relient K, they're amazing in every single way.

Damned doesn't only mean go to hell. And I definitely don't think it's a swear word in this context. It just means you've chosen or been sentenced a certain fate and you'll have to suffer through it

I don't see why we' re arguing! Everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe in! If you don't believe that God is real or that there is eternal life after death, that's sad but that's just my opinion. And chances are a comment on UA-cam won't change ANYBODYS beliefs! Everyone will interpret this song in a different way. I agree that it is about God forgiving our sins. I Love relient k!

he's not cursing :) He's talking about "damned" in the original sense "doomed" or "destined" in a negative way. so basically, we're all destined to fail and fail again. but we're all forgiven because Jesus Christ died for each and every one of our sins on the cross and He loves us all. :) hope this helped! But i mean..... he says you can't see past the blood on my hands. Ohhhh does he mean that since he's forgiven by God... he wants to be forgiven by someone else and is reminding them that God forgives? That's what i got from the chorus but i really don't get the verses.
