Update: Redoing My Piston Rings

The machine shop I went to did a terrible job gapping my rings. I had to take It apart again to fix a few issues so I can be back on the road again.

Dude I just blew the piston rings on mine with Holset hx30.. I put forged rods and reused the piston rings... was running good. But now I have oil in the cylinders and exhaust manifold. contemplating new motor or is just changing piston rings would fix I really like your build tho I’m curious what you find out what are you using for tuning ?

Kenne Simpson oh no 😭 your first mistake was reusing your piston rings, they’re super cheap to buy brand new. It sucks to hear that tho I kno how it feels but just slap new piston rings in n you’ll be fine. I’m using maestro 7 for my tuning software
