    The one thing that baffles me is how the other twin just offed herself with her own mind. I've never heard of anything like that before.

      Her soul was split into two bodies, which doesn't happen that often (not even in twins), and via her soul transferring back to the OG body, the 'left over body' was left in a coma, as no 'soul' existed within anymore. This is how 'one killed the other,' but it is more like she figured out a way to transfer the half of her soul that was trapped back into the OG body, thus completing the two halves into one soul entity.
      This is why she could talk and be normal after; having half a soul in a body greatly limits you as a 'person,' and that is why 'they' could only talk to each other; it was the only time the two halves of a single soul could be 'united as close as possible,' thus allowing some minimum semblance of functioning.
      This means there was only ever 'one person,' which is why they would only talk to 'each other' and no one else, and why, open the apparent death of one, that the other 'regained' normality and would/could talk to other people

    I have a really strong feeling that trauma plays a massive role in this story and it’s just kind of ignored or dismissed. Their trauma should be seriously examined & considered when trying to understand the twins’ psycho-pathology.

      Yes I felt like there must’ve been some kind of trauma to cause them to stop talking, beyond just the bullying at school

    • @rockyrox4591

      I thought this immediately anytime I watch a doc about them. I feel there absolutely must have been some type of S.A. Against one both of them with likely only one of them having it go even farther than the other. Which may be a cause in the difference of whom is protective over who and who usually controlled who.
      I don’t believe it just naturally happened without a serious trauma occurring

      This I sad because there was nothing everrrr unusual or different about these twins, if you have visited Barbados then you know we speak fast amongst ourselves. That being said it sounds like gibberish to others.
      People say bajans have one of the worst accents in the world so imagine going to ‘the English Speaking capital’ and not wanting to speak because your peers at school don’t understand you,that’s trauma within itself.
      I believed it spiraled from there…the only person who understands you is your twin because she’s going through the same type of bullying, then being hospitalized and studied and given medication?! Sigh . I’m sure the crying is because of frustration and stubbornness.
      The early 1960s? The mom should have moved back to
      Barbados!

      @@jigglypuff4ever I suspect it was the bullying to be honest. It sounds like that they were fairly normal with their gibberish language as many other twins will remember speaking with their sisters, school is where this would typically be broken. It could be that they were horribly mistreated at that school from day one, perhaps the first teacher they had was a racist for example. This would prevent them from wanting to socialise, and over a long enough time period I could see that constant bullying preventing any sort of normality.
      I had a terrible time at one point in my schooling, it utterly broke me and would have only be a fraction of what a decade of racial abuse would have felt like. I am neuro divergent, and it would seem to make sense that the twins were too, people like me can really struggle with complex social situations
      However, yes, I suppose there could also have been horrors happening at home too

I suggest go into watch the actual documentary yourself I'm not listen to these different posts that seem to carry the creepy narrative. To get people commenting. These two girls were tortured tortured by bullies tortured by the teachers tortured by The professionals tortured by prison officers , it's absolutely disgusting what these two pork innocent girls got put through. And it shows now all these years later why another film needed to be put together. Just the way this guy is wording it is annoying me and that stupid creepy music in the background , pathetic

    Jennifer says: Fatal Enemies, Face of Misery, Deception and Murder
    And then Jennifer Died coincidence? I think NOT!

      @Wynngrem Рік тому +66

      Right. I agree when the story is told, especially when it's presented as if it's supernatural; Jennifer killing herself with her own mind so that June could live freely. Jennifer is always presented as the dark personality but imo dying so someone else can live is not smth a dark or evil twin would do.
      However, Jennifer didn't kill herself with her own mind. She died bc she was sick. It just wasn't known she was sick until after her death. Jennifer herself though may have had some sense that her body was failing and that her time was coming near. You occasionally here stuff like that in hospice work.
      Jennifer wasn't murdered by June which seems to be what you're implyin, as her COD was acute myoocarditis; an inflammation of the heart. Likely caused as a side effect of long term psychotropic medication(s) or result of infection. Very unlikely to be the result of a murderous act. She was outwardly showing signs of the illness and the days before her death and perhaps even before that she felt symptoms of the illness internally.

    Definitely feels like some sort of a strong and coordinated belief b/w the twins which may have led to this
    Like, they must've asked June : "Why couldn't you speak back then?" and "How did you now change so suddenly?"

      Their moms family had a pedophile...the twins step grandfather was a pedophile to their mom and their 2 aunts.
      Both sides have some pretty serious generational trauma/curses.

    Y’all, something don’t add up here. How do little children COMPLETELY stop talking to EVERYBODY in their lives including their own parents? For that to happen something really traumatic had to occur.
    Plus they started using drugs during their teenage years, how are they getting a hold of these drugs ? How is it that most of their writing was teenagers going through trauma and committing horrific crimes ? And nobody questioned or saw this as an important piece of the puzzle?
    I have a feeling something was happening in the household that made these girls mute, not enough questions are being asked about the parents/care givers/ school/ Broadmoore mental hospital.
    The whole story about Jennifer saying “she has to die” also does not add up. How did she know she was going to die ? Marjorie reported what Jennifer had said to the Mental Hospital staff so they could be on high alert for a suicide attempt (so that can’t be it). That only leaves the obvious conclusion which is that her death was not natural or accidental. The condition she died of (myocarditis) can be induced by giving certain medication in specific quantities. Someone wanted that girl GONE and not make it out.

They practically lived in their bedroom, and when it was searched for evidence, piles upon piles of notes were found, all containing plans of their crimes; setting fire to county buildings, as well as their own stories, all written in their tiny, tiny handwriting.

    Reminds me of L.A. Raeven, twin women who are both artists and work together, dutch or belgian (not sure), they were VERY disfunctional, they had anorexia together for example, they were obsessed with being the same so much that they would eat exactly the same (barely anything), and also the love/hate bond they had. Very interesting, there are videos of interviews and such, not sure if they are translated into english but I think they had some international success so maybe... Dont know how they are doing now, last time I checked on them one of them was having a baby which was obviously very difficult for their relationship... I think they really are trying to be more like two seperate people instead of one person with two bodies, or at least one of them (the one who was having a baby) really wanted this, but the other I think was kinda resistant to this idea. I hope they and her kid are doing well!

    それとは別に小説を書いたり新しい言葉を開発したり人がひとりでこなすのに大変な時間を割くことを2人でできていたならすごいチームワークだから、2人のエネルギーはすごいな。

    I commented on your short, but please look at this comment, i hope you gain the actual empathy to tell the truth. This is not a creepy story, but an extremely heartbreaking one. They were black (therefore discriminated against), bullied and mocked, resulting in them talking to only each other for comfort. They were depressed and set a building on fire and got locked up for 12 years. One of the twins died not due to "a mysterious reason" but due to a rare heart condition. They were then also diagnosed with schizophrenia in prison.
    Please stop spreading misinformation about this story.

    • @TheEniqma
      @TheEniqma  Рік тому +24

      It is heartbreaking, I never denied that and I hope I did portray that in the video. What I'm curious is why you are dismissing the mysterious aspect of their story. It's not as simple as being bullied into making them silent. They were possessed (as agreed both by their speech therapist and the journalist) and experts were clueless as to why they were so adamant in keeping their pact. Also, they made the pact way before they were bullied. It was as soon as they were born. If you watch their documentary, June herself and her mother said they had difficulty interacting as soon as they entered the speaking age. And yes, Jennifer died due to a rare heart condition but how did she know she was gonna die? She seemed fine the day before when she spoke to the journalist. Even the doctors didn't find anything wrong with her until it was too late.
      I have made my research, I would never mislead my viewers into thinking it was something else

    • @Neo_Chord
      @Neo_Chord Рік тому

      @@TheEniqma
      First of all, your concept of possession is a little... Just simply incorrect. There is nothing mysterious about it, just a misunderstood pair of twins with unmedicated and probably undiagnosed mental difficulties. I suggest you conduct your research on those such as schizophrenia and other ones, it's a lot more interesting and based in science than possession.
      Second of all, of course, I cant speak for those poor children, but gut feelings exist. You dont just die out of nowhere, it's usually something you start noticing if its happening slowly. That, too, I suggest you research a bit more if you haven't. Again you don't just suddenly die of a rare heart condition, you notice stuff and generally when you're feeling VERY not good it's a high possibility to go "uh oh. I feel like I'm dying." Like it's not special nor do you have to force a mystery out of this.
      I'm a science student studying in college as of now, and as one this behavior and these conditions really intrigue me. I'm definitely not trying to attack you, I just really want people who are able to spread information so well to also spread awareness of medical bias in the fields, although I entirely understand if that's just not the thing you do. You also have to consider that doctors/journalists especially did not have the knowledge and technology to properly diagnose such things, as those were stigmatized and demonized to no end, and still are to this day. Just because the twin who stayed alive said she was possessed doesn't exactly mean anything. Its notoriously misunderstood. It is extremely heartwarming to see these two opened up to a journalist who helped them a bit, but that, too, you have to consider is because of all the trauma and stigma the poor girls had to go through their entire life, especially with their ethnicity.
      I'm not schizophrenic nor am I black, so I can't speak for them, but please do listen to black and disabled people who do point those things out to you.
      Regardless, I hope you are well. Have a nice day, and I'm very thankful if you ended up reading all of this.
