If you enjoyed this video and want to see more of Lil Lady Lightning, here’s a playlist of all the videos I have of her: ua-cam.com/play/PLCCMolYFX00SO1kxrP7tU8_MrX6j9ruhd.html&si=hVqWazuqi6idfwvB Sadly, Lady passed away March of 2024 due to a freak spinal cord injury she sustained in her corral, but I got to be her girl from the moment I adopted her to the very end. She is my best documented mustang, so if you want to see all of her domestic life and what training a mustang (while also living with autoimmune) can look like, I definitely recommend heading over to her playlist to see all of that. She was definitely a unique horse, and a very very special one.
First! Hello from Oregon! It's so cool that you do this! It looks like it was a lot of fun! It is clear as day that she trusts you 100%. Your relationship with her is beautiful to see! I believe there's going to be a lot of people inspired to adopt a mustang after seeing the relationship between you two after only 120 days! You're so inspiring! I also really love all the makeovers and challenges that are helping get these mustangs homes! Gathering and adoptions is the only feasible solution to the overgrazing and drought problem, and obviously nobody wants them just sitting in the holding pens, though I'd rather see them in holding pens than starving to death. So glad they are getting help, even if it's one horse, one video, and one person at a time. Each and every trainer might not seem to have a huge impact alone, but together all of mustang trainers and adopters are making huge impacts! Best wishes to you and your horses! Thank you for making these videos!
Thank you! I love training horses and it's so fun to see these mustangs overcome their fear and find homes. I've put a lot of time into her and gaining her trust, but she really deserves the credit. She has been so amazing and so patient. She's been really fun. I absolutely love the makeovers too! As soon as I found out about them I started basically "fan girling" and then last year I finally started doing them. They are so much fun, though they can be really difficult. Thanks for watching!
