Lytham as many have pointed out certainly "looks" lovely. Unfortunately, behind that facade is something much uglier. It's increasingly experiencing drug and alcohol related antisocial behaviour - a young man was even attacked and killed there in the street one evening a week or two ago - and that's only going to get worse. It's even becoming known as "Snow City" due to the very easy availability of a particular hard drug in the ever increasing number of bars. If you like Lytham enjoy it while you can. It won't be like that for much longer. It's rapidly changing and not for the better 😕
@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Not surprising at all. Lytham is an affluent part of the world so cocaine is the natural drug of choice. Sad but not surprising.
Never been to Lytham until last week, absolutely awesome little town plus Bobby Ball and later walking home to Blackpool airport premier inn we passed the late great Les Dawson.
Excellent video of lytham its look excellent place to visit the park look great top job Stephen I can't wait for next video I hope you and your family and friends are well and safe

Wow some beautiful houses in Lytham, I went to see UB40 and rag and bone man in the peace hall in Halifax they were brilliant , ty for great video Stephen 😊 x
Lovely really good day to go. I think it's the Clifton Arms that is the home of the Yorkshire Association, specially for Yorkshire men like me. They used to have a plaque by the front door. Nigel Holmes has a shop there across from Stringers. They started in Blackpool across from St John's church (as was). I was in Southport a few days ago and thought I could see the windmill. Perfect video Stephen. Shows why people drive from all over Lancashire to Lytham on a sunny Sunday afternoon and have done for many years.
There always is a siren ❤ on the videos 😊 we have got such gorgus weather 🤣🤣🤣 you are funny not havin much luck today with buses etc 😂😂 great video till the next one 😊
I was at Lytham Green Golf club on Saturday..I could hear a band playing and the sound of air raid warnings..Great golf course..Lovely service and people there..5 stars
Missed seeing you there Stephen, stayed overnight in Lytham at Queens Hotel. Great Hotel. I was in Lowther Gardens today too and took a photo of Bobby Ball statue. Great vlog, your coverage was brilliant 😁
Seeing George Ezra on Thursday with my daughter xx looking forward to it x hope the weather's better than last year when we were like drowned rats watching duran duran lol xx

Thank you for another informative video Stephen, the views are lovely and the Lytham festival looks like being a cracker! Hope you managed to stay hydrated.😊😊😊
Another great video Stephen and the lovely blue sky. Lytham and St. Ann’s lovely places . Always something going on were you are. See you again soon ❤❤❤
Hi, Steve. Enjoyed the vid as always. Had to laugh at 'Don't they know who I am?!?'! Went to Lytham not long back and it seemed to have gone a bit downhill tbh, down the backstreets etc. Anyway, ta 4 the post. Hopefully one day there'll be a statue of you on Blackpool seafront like the Bobby Ball one or the Eric Morecombe one in Morecombe seeing as you're the town's unofficial ambassador and local historian 🤞. Keep up yr great vids and bangin' photography 👍.
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always it sounds like a good line up for the festival the views are amazing love lytham windmill have a great evening xx
It was an enjoyable video. My best mate lives somewhere around there. We lost touch with each other so I can't remember what his addy was. I have to wonder, why are there these pricey swanky houses there? It's hardly the centre of the English economy? Maybe I'm missing summat. Where do all these people who own these homes work?
I've worked for a few people around there who are very wealthy business owners. I'd guess that most of the money is from high end civil service, or BAE Systems just down the road in Warton.
I just love Lytham and of course the windmill💕. Must try and come for the festival one year. Thanks Stephen👏 ( I might be the only one that never found Bobby Ball funny)
I was there yesterday for Lytham Fair Armed Forces Day & to watch my Son play Cricket he was playing at South Shore CC Lytham has absolutely heaving yesterday
Looks a nice place, quite 'olde worlde' sort of thing. Security guards are a pain. I do a lot of street photography (mainly architecture) and lost count of the amount of times security bods come up to me asking questions.. none of their business as long as I'm on public land but they like to go on a power trip and flex their imaginary 'powers'.
I was in Lytham that day too 😃 It was absolutely heaving I did see my Van turning off Clifton drive on the video 😂 Went into the Ship & Royal for something to eat but ended up getting a refund it was dreadful
The architecture again is so much more attractive than modern counterparts. However, I do find Lytham a little too "posh" for my taste. It also lacks the sweeping beaches of Blackpool.
I’ve heard and seen good things about Lytham. Unfortunately reading the top comment here kind of takes the edge from it. So sad that so many UK towns and cities are now blighted by drugs and violence. Still that fair looked incredible busy and popular.
That saying do they not know who i am reminds me off story my pal was working on train one day he refused carol thatcher daughter of margaret a drink on the train as she had one to many she said to him do u not know who i am he turned round and said to people in frst class heres woman who doesnt know who she is everybody clapped him she was not amused 😅

Unfortunately the powder is a big problem in all towns these days.
Yes I did hear about that Richard. Very sad, but also surprising, given the location.

Sadly drugs are all over 😢 it’s so sad to see kids theses days I’m glad I had my days when the world was a safer place
I've heard that as well. I admit I was not only surprised but really didn't want to believe it. Such a nice place in my memory.
Never been to Lytham until last week, absolutely awesome little town plus Bobby Ball and later walking home to Blackpool airport premier inn we passed the late great Les Dawson.

A fine place. Yes, the trees add a certain class to the surroundings. Cheers 🍻
Wouldn't a tree lined Blackpool look fab .
@@sandradowling4605 Yes!

Some fantastic houses around there
Nice one Stephen and thank you .👍👍
I’ve been there twice today from Blackpool. Once walking with my friend and then later in aft. Meeting some other friends! Love leafy Lytham.
I just saw windmill and the Wetherspoons in Lytham, didn't know about the posh park 👍

The windmill is quite easy to spot from over in Southport.
Looks a very nice place Stephen. Thanks for showing 👍🏻☀️😎
Glad you enjoyed it Shirley.
love the video 😊

It certainly brought the crowds out and none of them seemed to need any spare change 🌳
Thankyou for remembering bobby ball , great loss ❤😊
Hi stephen place looks amazing thank you for another great video hey to everyone❤hope all is well love from Dublin🇮🇪❤️
Great video , rock on Stephen 👍
Thanks Wayne 👍
You need to go into Whispers Bistro and cafe when you're in Lytham next fantastic food and staff
Great video.
Thanks!

Not looking too bad for the weekend. Maybe the odd shower or two.
Beautiful place Lytham, would stay there if I could afford it.

What do you down the back streets, what did you see ?
Mark from UK meet the Tyrants audited the security at that festival in previous years, very good video 😂
He will have told them to get back to work.
I'm there next weekend for Motley Crue 🤘and Def Leppard. Can't wait.
Cool Man 😎

Lytham Brown 🤣🤣 The festival sounds like it will be fantastic Stephen. 🎉 Congratulations 🎉on reaching 44.5k, I'm so proud of you 😘 xx
Thanks Moonage xx

He mentioned he was at Lands End back in May.
@@lparky4409 I thought he was live cheers anyway

The Lytham festival looked more like a BMW drivers convention.
Have you been 2 Tom's farm in that area 😊😊
I've heard he has a subscriber or half a million.
I think you meant July 2nd.
My bad.
I was there yesterday for Lytham Fair
Armed Forces Day & to watch my Son play Cricket he was playing at South Shore CC
Lytham has absolutely heaving yesterday
To Stephen have u ever though of doing a video in Southport
I did last year in summer.

I love Lytham, you really did it justice Stephen, great video, awesome views, thank you.
As posh as Lytham is Stanley Park 💯💖
Nice. But in my eyes you can't beat Stanley park
Hi Stephen
Why don't you ever do a video of Stanly Park?
Perhaps if you spelled it correctly he would.
He's done a few.
@@stephenguppy7882😂😂
I've done several.
You obviously don’t look at all Stephen’s videos as he has done few of Stanley Park
I was in Lytham that day too 😃

Lytham ‘n Blackpool literally yin & yang
True

Mottley crew with gabby and theo
Tears for fears cancelled last.minlast year
So u got a 5 day pass its a big festival like boardmasters
I bet the security thought you were uk meet the tyrants. He tends not to react well to being asked not to film. 😅
I got that impression. When they asked if I needed help, I knew they were just being nosey.
