Noel, hello I'm looking for an English native speaker to learn English. I want to improve my skills it, but I can also help you to speak better :) If you still want to learn Russian, I could help you. Answer me if you don't mind practice speaking in skype the or somewhere else
Why you learn russian? 😲Why people learn Russian, if they are not students to go in Russia 😱 I feel it's time to create tik tok chsnel with rus.lang.learning ☺
@@ДевушкаСевер-с6к There are many reasons people want to learn a language. Not everything is about some "tik tok challenge" people are just genuinely interested, like myself.
thank you! this is my second day of trying to learn Russian. what you said inspired me to keep going with it and keep watching videos. I look forward to watching your videos and learning from you and others.
I think that you should go on learning Russian because it's one of the hardests languages. Besides, Russian literature is thought-provoking and it's a perfect chance to try to read it in original. My advice is to try to grasp as much as possible from free websites, to watch authentic videos and films and to interact with russian people! And try to do it on a regular basis. If you are still interested in learning Russian I'm your free opportunity for interaction))) You can write me and we can hold a conversation:)
I think Russian grammar is almost impossible to learn. I learned Russian by reading books and speaking. I used to know grammar well, but there are so many rules and exceptions to them, that it's almost impossible to memorize and remember them. But if you have any questions I'd be glad to help.
Да мне кажется английский тоже надо изучать на практике. А так, у меня на канале есть видео по грамматике английского. Но английская грамматика более систематизированная и легче чем русская. I think any language should be learned by speaking and reading.
In every country everybody speak on their own language incorrectly and Russians not exception. Well in our country most of people speak incorrectly and write with lots of mistakes. I'm agree that our grammar is so difficult to learn and remember because I sometimes don't understand all rules of Russian language, and personally I think that English is much easier than ours. (Sorry for my English , I'm Russian )
Ahah, hello, I am also learning English, it is fashionable to say partly Russian. Eh, how did you fully learn English and forget the original language?
I don't think that you are in the level of lower intermediate. I've been learning russian language for more than 3 years but I still can't speak as fluently as you do. So, for me, you are, at least, upper intermediate. Keep doing this great job! :)
Это не акцент, а артикуляция. Органы речи по разному работают у носителей разных языков. А акцент это произношение, в котором отражаются звуковые особенности чужого языка или наречия, либо индивидуального произношения.
I started learning russian 3 years ago as an exchange student and I can say, I am already upper intermediate. However for me, as a slavic language native speaker, was way more easier for me, than for other international students (americans, turks, germans, ...), so I really admire your progress and effort. I am struggling with french right now the same way as you do :)
I want to thank you for taking out the time to share your process and progress. I struggle but I'm not going to give up. You helped me to think positive and got me excited about the language like when I first started learning it last February. Thank You very much
Привет! I am also trying to learn Russian and I'm having a hard time because I'm not surrounded by the Russian language a lot in the US. But this video is really going to help me learn the language and surround myself with Russian. Спасибо!

Ох... ~~~ Ты такая молодец! Твой русский язык на таком высоком уровне! Ты говоришь почти без акцента, правильно ставя ударения и окончания. Это на самом деле впечатляет! Удачи!)
I'm living in the country of georgia and my boyfriends family only speak georgian and Russian. I opted for Russian since there are so many more resources available to me. I have to say that immersion is so important because you can't make those vocab connections quickly in the beginning and you have to practice over and over and over before the vocab solidifies in your mind. I am not good at russian but luckily can string together simple sentences and I am starting to understand what people are asking me. The language still makes my brain twist.
Довольно забавно, что видео на английском намного более интересно и познавательно, чем видео на русском. Hi Bridget! I`m Kristina from Russia! Glad to hear that you`ve been learning Russian for a while and truly enjoying the process! Since this video was uploaded a few years ago, I don`t know if you still have this passion for learning the language, but if you do, feel free to text me and we`ll talk on Skype or whatever platform you prefer using. I would genuinely love to master my English so we can pull off a barter or something - you learn Russian, i learn English) Hope to hear from you soon ^^)

Wow. Bridget, just today I discovered your channel, and I have to say you have inspired me a little bit. Like you, I am also a language enthusiast that likes to learn languages pretty much just for fun. Just to see the passion for language learning from you really is refreshing, considering the majority of people I meet have no idea why I spend my free time trying to learn more languages. I simply love your passion and your energy. I have studied German for about four years now, and learning that language has been such an amazing and fun journey that I have decided to now tackle Russian. I went to Moscow a few months ago, and the LITTLE Russian I had went a long way communicating with the locals. The great thing is that German and Russian share some of the same grammatical quirks with the cases and noun genders. Right now I am just doing duolingo and memrise, but I will give Hellotalk and Lingualift a try at some point. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Hi! If you still need someone to speak Russian, I could help you. I am native Russian speaker. And I would very appreciate, if you help me practice English.
Бриджет, в первую очередь конечно было интересно услышать об опыте изучения, но хотела сказать спасибо за советы, они также применимы для изучения и любого другого языка. Желаю успехов! : )
I see that the way of learning a foreign language is quite the same for each of them. I use almost everything you've mentioned to learn English. But thank you for mentioning interpals (: I've never heard of it before, but I think it can be useful for me, 'cause I need to talk to native speakers to improve my English. It would be wonderful to find someone of my age and who shares my interests maybe not only for learning language but for communicating as well. There are not so many young people who want to learn russian, so it was really nice to hear of you :D I guess there are plenty of Russians who yearn to help you with our language, but maybe I could help somebody else... once :D Your Russian is quite clear to understand, by the way, it's good))
You can also try the comprehensible input based learning of Russian like in the videos I make. It's all about mass listening experience for hours of meaningful (not fake-text-book Russian) and comprehensible language input internalizing the language before it emerges quite naturally in interacting with language partners. It's great for the beginners and lower intermediate learners. I'll be super happy if this method helps you or anyone else who learns Russian. Anyway you are doing so well! Keep it on and share your progress with us! Happy Russian learning :-D
The thing is that at some point it is very important to find a language speaker with really good skills in her or his language. It's sad but even native speakers tend to do loads of mistakes which can harm your learning process. It concerns grammar mostly but still, it's important to write correctly. For example, I'm a journalist so I personally know Russian like a teacher and most of the time I see errors in people's messages even though they are native. So Bridget if you're interested in language exchange with someone who can explain you difficult rules just massage me:)

You are a goddess of classy American pronunciation! :-) Well, it`s my personal opinion, because while studying American English I was listening carefully a lot of American English native speakers, trying to copy their pronunciation during almost a year. And your pronunciation is definitely one of the most pleasurable to hear, it sounds like a music for me! And also you are so unbelievably cute, which makes your videos even more enjoyable! ;-)
Так прикольно, когда ты русский и классно знаешь английский. Смотрю ваши видео и на русском и на английском без проблем! Очень полезный канал!!!!! Спасибо вам за ваш труд!)
Great suggestions! I use a combination of Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, Russianpod101 and a text book one of my practice partners sent me from Moscow. I like the book, it's primarily in Russian with English written small and not for everything. I also use a tutor, I need to with my learning style and I try very hard to find someone to speak to every day. I put Avtoradio on in my office all day in the background and I write vocabulary on my whiteboard, change it every week. Keep it up Bridget. I can't seem to bring myself to record videos, but I have met some really really good friends in Russia.
Hi! If you still need someone to speak Russian, I could help you. I am native Russian speaker. And I would very appreciate, if you help me practice English.
I'm using Michel Thomas - it's soooooo good for starting to build some basic vocab, simple sentences and get to grips with pronounciation. Then I'm pairing it with Duolingo - which I don't love on it's own, but once you've got a bit of a grasp with the Michel Thomas approach, it's great for learning the alphabet and a bit of writing, a bit more vocab etc. I'll use your suggestions when I'm a bit more intermediate, but I'm really enjoying these 2 programmes for the basics
"Duolingo" - it's an app that I use to learn Italian. It has a bunch of languages and mostly is good for learning some basic phrases and expanding vocabulary (there is a huge verity of themes that you go through as levels) :)
Americans can immediately be determined by their behavior (body language). They constantly somehow twitch and grimace when they speak. This is common feature for Americans themselves, and they don't pay attention to it, but it's very noticeable for foreigners.
Why can't I double-like this video? Awesome links, really good advices. Also, [language name]Pod101 could be found for many different languages. I'm now learning Hebrew with it.
Спасибо за хорошее видео и ссылки на программы. Если бы было больше видео на английском , то было бы здорово!) P.S. Желательно с субтитрами , а то для начинающих разобраться в том что ты говоришь сложно... Спасибо .)
Hello, Bridget! I'd like to advice you an useful app called "Hinative" where you can ask questions about a language or a country that you're interested in and get answers from native speakers, and of course you can be such "native". :-) Еще я бы хотела вас поправить на счет "видео по-русски". Если вы хотите сказать, что видео на русском языке, так и пишите "видео на русском", потому что "по-русски" означает "на русский манер", так, как делают в России.
HI! Great videos! You should try Anki. Whole Russian phrases, not single words...And movies on UA-cam: Starmedia; Russian for education I think are the 2 best channels. All the best!
I am also learning Russian. My Russian is not very good yet. I have to practice a lot. I am a beginner. I use Babbel to learn Russian. Greetings from Berlin.
7:30 Please, can you make a video about it? In russian preferably. It is interesting to know your opinion and what russian youtubers you like or find interesting.
Great tips and suggestions. I've been focusing on learning Russian as well and mostly immerse myself in the culture via films (where possible), music, youtube lessons and Russian social media (VK, pikabu). Not sure I'm at the stage yet where I can watch Russian UA-camrs since I understand only around 15% but I'm working on vocab. One additional tool that has helped me a lot is memrise, it's an online series of mixed-media lessons that far surpasses something like duolingo in my opinion, and is free with the option of paid membership perks. One question I would have is the best areas to focus on to build up the ability to begin to engage with native Russian speakers, because as you mentioned it seems like the best way to learn it quickly. It's a little difficult for me to have any sort of conversation if restricted to a handful of verbs, nouns, and phrases.
My girlfriend's parents only speak Russian, not a word of English but I mostly want to learn it to be able to connect with her in a language in which she can feel relaxed. I have tried so many different tools, my favourite ones: 1. I do a lesson on Russianpod101 2. I take vocabulary and grammar from the lesson and put into Anki. 3. I watch Russian videos on FluentU (they have commercials, music videos, short stories with subtitles and vocabulary flashcards:)
this was exactly what i needed, thank you so much Bridget!! i just found your channel but I'm pretty new to russian (language learning in general, really), so i appreciate the english subtitles. you inspire me!
I started learning Russian 4 days ago cuz me and my cousin want to be able to have a conversation in a language that friends and family can't understand but duolingo isn't the best app for learning different languages

У вас удивительно хороший русский; Однако всегда есть чему поучиться) В некоторых случаях мы не говорим "по-русски" или "по-английски", например "я буду смотреть этот фильм НА АНГЛИЙСКОМ", "это видео на русском";
Have you heared of Pimsleur? Try it, It really really helps you learn much more faster. It's an audio learning system for many languages including Russian. You can find it at audible. Good luck in your learning🌹
Я попрошу вас кое о чем помочь. Русский русский дублированный сериал или фильм с русскими субтитрами можно найти где в Интернете. Вообще-то, я ищу двойные субтитры. русские русские озвучки, сериал или фим с русскими и английскими субтитрами.
Спасибо большое Бриджет, скажи пожалуйста, the difference between - какие, какой, какое, какая, and all the likes. when are they used, please help me out 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Oluwasegun Nicholas in english you can translate all of these like "what kind of" but the difference is next: какие - what kind of thingS, multiple; какой - what kind of masculine; какая - what kind of feminine; какое - what kind of neuter. For instance: какие люди, какое дерево, какая дверь, какой автомобиль

Your English very good! And russian too!
Wow. Barbara!!! I didn’t know that you are EnglishClass101 teacher! I’m a student Innovate English :)
Пожалуйста, снимай больше видео на английском языке с русскими субтитрами! Смотреть тебя- одно удовольствие! :)
I looovveeeee HelloTalk. I used it to learn Portuguese and now I’m using it for French and Italian
Просто слушал ее милое щебетание и занимался своими делами...
R Crouwl какими делами ты занимался?
California dreaming обед себе готовил))
😑
А я включил русские субтитры, и совместил приятное с понятным.
Where are you from? Do you still learn Rus?
"Duolingo" - it's an app that I use to learn Italian. It has a bunch of languages and mostly is good for learning some basic phrases and expanding vocabulary (there is a huge verity of themes that you go through as levels) :)
Love interpals. Probably my favorite one at this moment.
Если бы было больше видео на английском , то было бы здорово!)
P.S. Желательно с субтитрами , а то для начинающих разобраться в том что ты говоришь сложно... Спасибо .)
Your video changed the way I learn English
ты молодец! у тебя все получится!
Привет Бриджет))))
Привет!
Hi!
Привет
Привет моей друг
Nowadays, with all this tech we should use it as much as we can to learn new lenguajes. Is so easy.
I have just been approved a 3 year multiple entry visa now I am very happy
Hello, Bridget! I'd like to advice you an useful app called "Hinative" where you can ask questions about a language or a country that you're interested in and get answers from native speakers, and of course you can be such "native". :-)
Еще я бы хотела вас поправить на счет "видео по-русски". Если вы хотите сказать, что видео на русском языке, так и пишите "видео на русском", потому что "по-русски" означает "на русский манер", так, как делают в России.
HI! Great videos!
You should try Anki. Whole Russian phrases, not single words...And movies on UA-cam: Starmedia; Russian for education I think are the 2 best channels.
All the best!
Awesome, thanks so much for the recommendation! I'll definitely check it out :)
Thank you for sharing these!
Very very clear english taiking!
привет, я из испании и я тоже учу по-русски :), hello, im from spain and I am also learning russian
I think you should just jump into it and start taking to Russian natives. It will be hard, but it is the fastest way to get to a conversational level.
your Russian is definitely higher than lower intermediate. you are really fluent in it :) advanced :)
I use the app Duolingo and it is working great for. If possible can you tell me names of some Russian series with English subs
Мне ещё нравится приложение hinative. Это не языковой обмен, Там можно задавать вопросы разных видов и люди просто отвечают на них
this was exactly what i needed, thank you so much Bridget!! i just found your channel but I'm pretty new to russian (language learning in general, really), so i appreciate the english subtitles. you inspire me!
как же приятно смотреть как иностранцы учат наш язык :)
Варвара краса - длинная коса! Поправь субтитры, будь ласка.
Those help a lot! ¡muchas gracias! ⏝ ✿
а я послушаю твою речь,что бы потренировать мой listening skill)
I do not live in Russia or in a place that people speak Russian but my parents both were born in this places so I can speak Russian from home
I love your videos (люблю твои видио)
I started learning Russian 4 days ago cuz me and my cousin want to be able to have a conversation in a language that friends and family can't understand but duolingo isn't the best app for learning different languages
Try Russian Made Easy.
your english level is excellent
How old were you when you started learning Russian? And how old are you now?
The progress of studying Russian depends on how much you need it.
I feel so sorry for all the people who are learning russian lmao y'all deserve *A LOT* of respect
on my own behalf, I want to note that everyone who learns Russian, regardless of location, deserves it. I totally agree with you!
Don't be shy:) You are really very, very good in Russian. This is exactly what is called fluent.
Nice approach! I do in the way to learn English:)
I don't know if this is helpful but what I do is watch Russian talk shows to see how to talk casually rather than robotically
Твоё видео очень мотивирует, спасибо большое! Хотела посоветовать тебе сайт ГидОнлайн (Gidonline.eu): там куча фильмов, сериалов, мультиков - все бесплатно. Хотя я не уверена, что там есть субтитры, зато все на русском! Удачи в изучении!
You probably get this a lot you look like Cristin Milioti. Your Russian is very impressive.., and that's coming from a native speaker
I'm American and trying to learn Russian so Спасибо !
Jack, hello
I'm looking for an English native speaker to learn English. I want to improve my skills, but I can also help you to speak better :)
If you still want to learn Russian, I could help you. Answer me if you don't mind practice speaking in skype the or somewhere else
I come from Russia and came to America as a little one and I really want to learn it again and become fluent
У вас удивительно хороший русский; Однако всегда есть чему поучиться)
В некоторых случаях мы не говорим "по-русски" или "по-английски", например "я буду смотреть этот фильм НА АНГЛИЙСКОМ", "это видео на русском";
Всё объяснила, осталось выучить.
I put this video in my playlist called "Practice in English".
I'm from Russia, joined interpals after your video. Let's see how it works :)
I'm indian boy . I think it's better for learning Russian language
Have you heared of Pimsleur? Try it, It really really helps you learn much more faster. It's an audio learning system for many languages including Russian. You can find it at audible. Good luck in your learning🌹
6.00 утра я пойду спать по больше видео на английском пожалуйста
У вас велосипед в комнате?
For instance: какие люди, какое дерево, какая дверь, какой автомобиль
mEDIUM Gap thanks so much
Hello Talk helped me to learn Japanese:) lol xD Thanks for the video 👉🏻😏👉🏻
