Hi Ellen! I’m so glad I discovered your channel about a month ago! I’ve been watching your videos and I love them as they are so positive, lovely and peaceful. They really have a positive influence on my day and mindset! Maybe because we’re about the same age and have similar interests/lifestyle, so I can relate to it in a way. I really like your take on seasonal living, so I’m definitely going to give that a try! I live in the Netherlands, so the seasons are pretty much the same as yours. I wonder what it will do for my mindset, because it makes you to slow down a bit and live more in the present to truly enjoy each season. A nice book recommendation for you might be the Bridgerton series. I really loved them! I’m going to give acotar a go after I finish my current book as you seem so excited by it!

Ellen, I love your channel and say this because I think you want to maintain your reputation as having an authentic voice, so with the greatest respect - I agree with other commenters regarding the more salesy feeling recently (I’ve started just skipping significant portions of your video as a result) and you can do better than sponsorships from these hair vitamin companies (in particular ones that have been reprimanded by Advertising Standards for unsubstantiated claims) as sponsors.
Thank you for the feedback - i don't want to tarnish any trust/authenticity i've built on this channel - and i definitely only recommend products i actually use. But i genuinely do appreciate the feedback - i will definitely work on finding the right balance with any sponsorships! ❤️
Interesting reading the comments about how “salesy” this video is. I stopped following another you tuber because she was doing a lot of sales and it was bizarre stuff. For me, as long as you are truly enjoying the brands then great. Think it comes with the job. Another lovely video Ellen & love watching you as a fellow Surrey inhabitant ❤❤❤

@@ellenalicemiller to be honest I didn’t mind how you spoke about the products & didn’t bother me at all but I think some are more sensitive to it (I’m used to it). If you were talking about something I was already interested in then it would make me research it but if it’s not something I’m interested in then it doesn’t bother me. Brand deals are a nice to have and as I know you’ll never go over the top with it then it’s cool with me. Can’t please everyone! Keep going ❤️

I probably described it wrong 🙈 I just thought it was really interesting research that shows if you are feeling low/ not your best - then instead of lighting a candle/ having a bath, go and help someone else and be of service to others, and it will improve your mental state as well as putting extra good out into the world ❤️ i definitely didn’t mean the only reason to help others is to benefit yourself 😂🙈❤️

Before I say this, I want to emphasize that I enjoy your videos, and still enjoyed this one. But I wanted to give a bit of feedback:
The past couple of videos have felt a lot more "salesy" with your ads. I can tell when a sponsorship is coming up because your voice changes and it turns very "sales pitchy". And I felt the haircare tip was almost put in just to get the sponsorship done, it just didn't ring as true for me as the other tips.
I really liked some of these tips and wrote them down in my journal as a reminder. Thank you!

I think we need to be careful saying things like ‘hot girl summer’ and ‘healthy girl habits’. Especially while promoting things like gummies and getting paid for it. I mean that respectfully, sorry if it comes across as harsh 🥲
No don’t worry it doesn’t come across as harsh at all ❤️ I hope I can help redefine whatever associations you have with those terms - for me ‘hot girl summer’ and being ‘healthy’ is all about glowing from the inside out. No harsh exercise or diets or aggressive goals. Just taking care of our mind and bodies so we can enjoy spring and summer to the max! ❤️ hope that makes sense 🫶🏻
