Purple belt breakdown...Don't hate - Фільми й анімація
What software is that??
It is a website I made to help study jiu jitsu called the "Outlier Database." You can check it out here outlierdb.com/
Bro this video is a piece of art. More like this please
Thank you 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Stoked on this breakdown and analysis! Can’t wait to work these concepts into my game
With it being the most high percentage sub in mma and being someone who wants to compete thank you ! I’ll be watching this multiple times!
Just a tip. If you have issues with your opponent trying to turtle from the underhook side take your forearm and chop on their trap. This will make it very hard for them to turn. You can even lock hands for a reverse seatbelt. You can see it in the clip at 04:57, as soon as he relinquished the elbow position above his opponent turtle.
Yep yep!
This is awesome, so informative. The roadmap to the back can also be seen as what Danaher called “cross body control” where if you have the bottom hook you need control of the opposite side shoulder, like when they used to use a power half a lot
hell yeah I was waiting for this!!!!!
🙌🏼
Man, this is gold, thank you so much!!
Hope you continue to the roadmap series for all the high % submissions. Thanks so much for the excellent content.
this is great work! im looking forward to similar blueprints for other positions XD
it feels like i was waiting for this since years. thanks
Awesome thank you!
Amazing video. Learnt so much, especially regarding strength of underhook side & belly down dilemma. Keep up the good work!
Awesome! Thank you!
I started training BJJ 2 months ago and this is the best formatted video explanation of a position and move that I've ever seen.
wow, that's saying something!
@@Longarmshortarm haha
Awesome as always 👏 would be really interested to see some analysis on strategies/techniques being utilised by smaller athletes in absolute divisions. Was interesting to see the differences in the divisions in the adcc videos you did... but would be super intrigued to know the most successful options for the undersized athletes in the absolute divisions 🙏
this is crazy, so much inofrmations, thx a lot !
Thank you! Happy studying 🤓
Great video thank you very much I was looking for something like that simplified
Awesome, I am glad you found it helpful. Thanks for the comment and the support!
Awesome breakdown again 👌🏼
brilliant video, this type of content is top tier
Thank you!
Bro... this video is amazing.
Great video!
Thank you!
This is great video! Thank you!
Appreciate it! Thank you for the comment and the support!
The recap at the end helps a lot
Awesome!
great vid. sometimes yours are a little niche for me (a white belt) but this was a good mix of a v common position + some intricacies
Awesome I am glad you were still able to find it useful!
Excellent. Next evolution for chokes from the back is the Ruotolotine
Great content man ❤
Thank you! 🥰
Great stuff 👍🏼
I have been following you channel since the very early days of channel. I have been truly impressed and was hoping that the channel doesn't become too big so that i can steal secrets from your channel and use them on my friends 😅 but I'm truly happy to see the channel growing . Also i did not know you and Prof Mike Murrell train together, big shoutout to both of you long way from India !
Hahaha right on my man thank you for the love! Yeah Mike is my instructor. He is the man!
@@LIMIBJJ you guys are truly blessed, Prof Mike is an amazing instructor!!
I've worked on side bodytriangle but it's hard to get and the hip bone pressing to your leg excruciating pain 😂
Yeah, maybe try to bring your knee up more before trying to cut your hook across
Interesting you didn't mention trapping the arm. Any reasons for that? I feel like that's a big part of back attacks related to body positioning that could have been cool to have included when talking about under/over hook sides.
Was thinking the same thing. It’s down a lot from Gordon Ryan in grappling to Bj Penn in mma.
Limi has a 2 parter on this already.
@@craigshiraz479 what’s the name of there channel?
@@addicted2anxiety559 its this same channel, part 1 ua-cam.com/video/gPjciPQkwnM/v-deo.html , part 2 ua-cam.com/video/xICITjQoZak/v-deo.html
@@craigshiraz479 sure but if this is the "back blueprint" rnc bjj analysis, then at least mentioning trapping the arm seems on topic
Awesome video
Thank you!
1 issues I face is no hooks being on the overhook side generally good as you mentioned but instead of turtling the response on going flat on back - then I’d prefer to be on underhook side
this is great!
Thank you 🙌🏼
LIMI out here making my instructional purchases worthless.
Hahaha the robin hood of BJJ
This is another hood classic
I haven't even watched it yet, and I pressed like already. :) Oh, I'll get a cup of tea, some nice snacks, and have a good time. Thanks! :)))
Hahaha make a day out of it. Thanks for the love my man!
What was the instructional with Danaher talking about 2 on 1 leg method?
Honza Stach se dostal na tento kanál, fucking hero!
What about double underhooks on highballride or with no hooks? Better or worst? Should you change to choke side?
🔥🔥
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Anyone knows please what dvd and time stamp danaher teaches hidden hand?
That’s some gospel at the end there. Evaluating techniques through the lens of how they fail over just their success rate is essential with combatives.
What instructional is the hidden hand method from I was looking at John's back instructional and it didn't seem to be on it ?
It is from his new one. Fastest way to increase submissions
🔥
Thank you!
You’re roadmap should be put into a hierarchy tree like you get off bjj fanatics but more in depth
Babe he did it again.
Hahaha
I opt for the underhook side to place a hook in, by leveraging the underhook to lift their elbow up (when sitting opp up for take or re-take). But sometimes it can be a matter of what side is presented as open for insertion.
👍🏼
what danaher and gordon dvd's are those clips from?
For Danaher: Fastest Way to Learn Submissions
Yep yep! Gordons was escaping and attacking from the back
👊
👊🏼

This was excellent. If you can slow down a little and not cut out every inefficiency in speech, it would help
At 10:33 it seems like he says the “overhook side” but he is clearly on the underhook side, right?
At 10:33 he explains why it’s harder to get under the chin from the overhook side and easier to do so from the underhook side. So yes he initially is on the overhook side but then he switches to the underhook side as he is comparing them
most important part: its pronounced Hear Naked Choke
