This would be great for only solo gigs at best cause if there are 2 people there would be the need for 4 inputs 2 for mics and 2 for guitar if that 2nd person is playing a guitar also.
hello! Thanks for the review! I have a question. I am deciding to buy between the Bose S1 pro+ and the Electro Voice Everse 8. I am a guitarist who uses neural quadcortex to go to practice with the band and play in live and I need a good monitor for my sound. I've only used the Bose S1 pro a few years ago with the quadcortex and it sounded amazing. Do you recommend the Bose S1 pro+? Or do you have experience with the Everse 8? Thank you 😊
I don’t have any experience with the EV (they make great stuff as well), but I’d say I’d you liked the previous version, you’ll definitely like this one. One thing to note is that you can run a channel on the Bose in “insert” mode. This allows you to use the optional wireless module with something like a Quad through a TRS cable. Cool feature!
The transmitter is actually designed to lay flat against the guitar body... But he doesn't lay it flat for some reason, its actually painful to see this lol. It doesn't look anything like that when properly plugged in!
The wirless gos flat in 4 hours totally usless. And the vocals are not loud enough to even cover a guitar. So forget about backing tracks. Dont listen to these UA-cam things. Go into a shop and try. And the reverb crap also
Yum.the sound of DI busking. FYI. This is the future. Just so ya’ll know
Great review. Very helpful.
I wonder if this unit can compare to the robust app from the EV EVERSE8. I tried the S1 Pro and was underwhelmed by the lack of effects.
Now that's pretty cool 🤘🏻
Im having a hard time deciding between Bose Pro or Everse 8

Thats why I bought two .. and its a game changer .. no more mixer, no more cables ..
Does is sound good for electric guitar distortion?
Taking mine back...keeps dropping out/cutting out. Seems to be a big problem for lots of people
