So, traditionally, whenever a character has something crazy that fucks with vision. Usually the game will just let it rock. Reptile from MK1 doesn’t tell the player where he is. Quince from Fantasy Strike fills the screen with two more Quinces and you, the player, are just expected to know where you are. Typically, it’s not as important to the guy messing with the other guy to know where they are. Often it’s just the fear factor/uncertainty put on the player fighting it. I don’t think, in local, they’ll do anything. I think they’ll just let it rock with a big spotlight around the enemy. I don’t see any reason not to do that
I’n glad you gave these examples and honestly you’re probably right about them just letting it rock and you have to keep track of where you are (which isn’t hard with experience)
@@leethewarlord this game doesn’t even look like the kind of game that needs split screen. Usually those are for Sparking Zero where both players might not even be on screen or even see each other sometimes. This game doesn’t need that and I don’t think Tosen needs that. Characters have been going functionally invisible for a very long time. X-23 in Marvel 3 goes 100% invisible and that was never a problem. You should generally know where you are because you’re the one with the controller. You know if you just jumped or walked towards your opponent. Final answer. I’m pretty confident that’s what they’re gonna do. The senran Kagura people are taking inspiration from other fighting games with stuff like Renji (his bankai is similar to how that stuff is handled in other fighting games that do it). So I think they’ll defer to the standard here too
I don’t think there is splitscreen in this game. In the gameplay we saw they were playing couch co-op with no split screen. I guess you will just have to keep track of your own movements in the darkness

Tosen and Renji that will be a fun fight.
Bankai fight between the 2 would go crazy😭
