Mine's coming in 2 months, and it's MY2017, so comes with the touchscreen and iDrive 5.0. I can't remember if it comes with CarPlay, and I don't understand the hype around it. It seems to be the general consensus that iDrive is the best on the market anyway. At least BMW bother to change the driver mode buttons to the right side for the RHD markets! My new C63 S has all the driver buttons on the left where the passenger or LHD driver would be, it's very annoying. Lazy Affalterbach
I actually really like their connection. I quite enjoy the fact that there is a normal working mum who tests the cars because lets face it that's usually who drives these types of vehicles. I say thumbs up, I enjoyed this.
Does this car have too much power? How does it compare to driving a normal X5? I always imagined the car will just take off if u tap on the gas. We do have very heavy traffics here. Is it hard to sit in traffic?
If your going to be a car journalist at least get to know some specs of the car. Deeper bumpers and lip extensions.. Tell us what transmission it has, how big are the brakes, what electronic differential gizmos does it have? Get off the Internet and let someone who has an idea about cars have a go
