There's so many fan of Tamim in our country but honestly I think he wasn't that great. I mean as an opener his stats are way too poor. Maybe good in test but in ODI it's not good at all.
I think Tamim has been failure a lot of time. He only has 14 centuries even after playing 240 innings even though he always opened!

Just an opinion: When players are seen as goat, notch above the rest then fans look as them as something superhuman, and when this superhuman doesn't perform even for a day it doesn't sit well with the fans. I think it is a issue in the subcontinent altogether.
