That makes me so happy you don't even understand. She has like 199 fans I'm pretty sure, the last time she toured was in 2009. For the longest time I listened to her music but I'm now looking up the lyrics as I listen and it is SO interesting. Like the way she speaks English after being an Irish folk singer, it's absolutely amazing.
You're definitely not missing out on Casual Vacancy. BTW I love the "spoiler picture" in the corner I had to mute for The Hero's of Olympus and I'm glad you didn't spoil me :D Awesome video as always!
I listened to "Let her go" while reading Clockwork Prince and Cp2 and I cried my eyes out! I cant listened to that song without starting to cry .... WILL ❤
I love that you're passionate about Cassandra Clare's books, because I'm the same! Oh, and the music I've recently been listening to while reading is any song by Bon Iver or Ed Sheeran (I also listen to Florence and the Machines and Lana Del Ray). But definitely Bon Iver is my new music crush atm!
I would have married Percy too. (7:45) He is like the BEST BOYFRIEND EVER! To those who don't agree: Have you read any pjo/hoo headcanons at all? have you even read the books? cuz hands down, Percy is the obvious choice.
I agree 100% with you on the Dark Artifices being "too much." What the hell people!? If Cassandra has more stories to write you better believe I will excited for them and getting my hands on them as soon as I can.
Best score: Beautiful Creatures. I know you weren't a huge fan of the movie, but the score is really cool and great background music for while you are reading. Also, if you find music in another language you like, listen to that. I don't listen to English music while I read because then I start singing along. If you don't have that problem, look up all the Imagine Dragon songs. They are awesome!
I love the music in How To Train Your Dragon! Especially Forbidden Friendship and Test Drive. Best music score ever! I actually play the soundtrack from Dances With Wolves while I read because it's amazing
I don't think people say they are "tired of shadowhunters" in spite of Cassandra Clare, but I think they would like to see this imaginative, wonderful, creative women put more of her thought and writing talents into another story/ world/ plot.
When I first read The Hunger Games trilogy, I was just getting into the band Paramore. Now I can't reread it without listening to them! Especially the song "Let The Flames Begin" and "Born for This"!!
With the time for reading books..exactly! I have a set 15 minutes every night to read before bed and Im always reading during the day. It doesn't make sense to me when people say they don't read because theyre too busy. To finish a book you don't need hours a day to read it you have to have small skattered reading times. I don't understand what people don't get about that
The PJO audio books are great. I read the first three before I started listening to them, and Percy sounds exactly like I had him in my head, and I am VERY picky about how the voice sounds.
10:27 Your response to the show was my response when I read it in the book. I almost threw the book at the wall but then I remembered I don't hurt books.
I ADORE you for putting up the pictures so we could mute the video. I love your Q and A's but sometimes they are a little spoiler-y since I haven't finished all the series you have. haha.
What do you think of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the other books of the series? Also, what do you think of the other books that Douglas Addams wrote?
I would so have Jem and Will over! Psyched for Divergent and City of Bones! Hey Christine, have you read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson? Its kinda like PJO people say its only for kids but it's so amazing!
I listen to Jason Mraz when its not a very action-y part of the book, like I listened to his music during the scene when Tris and Tobias were in the Chasm
I literally listened to Boombox by Lonely Island while reading the entire Hunger Games series and it was the most epic thing ever, though I can't listen to it without thinking about Rue or Finnick and what happened to them. Also, I love Jessamine for the soul fact that we have the same last name. And have yet to reading "Lovelace"
Shatter Me was so good! Read it now! As for music, I really love Barcelona (their first album), Radical Face, Iron & Wine, movie scores. I like relaxing acoustic music when I read. Go read Shatter Me! Do it now!
Haha true I can't picture him with anyone but Tris. And also have you finished Reboot yet?!?!?! I just finished it and I want to know what you thought about it
I have a friend who thinks that Cassandra Clare is just writing more books to make a lot of money, so she is not going to read them because of that. My reaction was just like "....!!!!". Sure, authors do write books to make money but they are also writing for their own and the readers' pleasure and I am SO THANKFUL that she plans on writing more. I don't care about anything else. Thank you, Christine, for pointing that out. And by the way, I really love your videos! - Christine (*wink wink)
I usually listen to K-pop when I read. There are lots of different musicians, but it's pretty easy to make playlists based on the tones of songs they create.
hi Christine! I'm kind of new to your channel and I really love it! I love you as a person and I can totally relate to you even though I just turned 12. I would really love it if you started to read the Kane Chronicals because I would really like to hear what you have to say on the books. Thanks!
In the question "If you were casted to play any character for the film adaptation of your favourite book who would you want to play?" what's the first character she says? Please reply. Thanks!
OH MY GOD CHRISTINEEE. When you read, listen to CARA DILLON!!!! All of her songs, make a playlist and listen. First song to start with: the parting glass. The second one: the garden valley. I love her SO much, her music is very Celtic feeling and amazing when your reading fantasy, it makes everything more erethereal!!
Christine, you should read the Chemical Gardens Trilogy by Lauren DeStefano. All three books are out and the books are great. The first book is called Wither
Watching Christine whilst muted is the most hilarious thing ever
I LOVE listening to Fall Out Boy. Not just when I'm reading - all the time.
PERCY JACKSON IS THE BEST BOOK SERIES I'VE READ SO FAR, ALONG WITH INFERNAL DEVICES!!!!
You are like the most awesomest booktuber ever.
i just watched some of your older videos. your editing has gotten SO MUCH better
Thumbs up for that AMAZING rant on Cassandra Clare haters!
That makes me so happy you don't even understand. She has like 199 fans I'm pretty sure, the last time she toured was in 2009. For the longest time I listened to her music but I'm now looking up the lyrics as I listen and it is SO interesting. You're definitely not missing out on Casual Vacancy.
BTW I love the "spoiler picture" in the corner I had to mute for The Hero's of Olympus and I'm glad you didn't spoil me :D
Awesome video as always!
I'm so glad someone asked you about GoT 3x09. And yes, that was my reaction and there were tears involved too.
I listened to "Let her go" while reading Clockwork Prince and Cp2 and I cried my eyes out! I cant listened to that song without starting to cry .... WILL ❤
the shatter me series was sooooo good please do a book review
She's done a review for each book in the Shatter Me series :)
I love to listen to Ed Sheran while reading
Christine, thank you so much for making these videos, they're amazing and they make my day.
When are you going to make a new Q&A, it has been almost two years!
I love listening to pierce the veil, black veil brides, and sleeping with sirens when i read. Also scores too
i loved that you made sure we weren't spoiled, except if you read the writing during the PJO spoilers, there maybe is a spoiler? Love the video!
CHRISTINE, YOU ARE MADE OF AWESOME.

I LOVE the how to train your dragon score! It's great for reading!
When I do listen to music while reading it's mostly Lana Del Rey and Etta James. Etta's music is so cozy and really sets the mood for reading :)
I would have married Percy too. (7:45) He is like the BEST BOYFRIEND EVER!
To those who don't agree: Have you read any pjo/hoo headcanons at all? have you even read the books?
cuz hands down, Percy is the obvious choice.
The score to the new anna karenina movie is fricking amazing, so relaxing
HAHA i dont feel sorry for Sebastian but I do feel sorry for Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern with green eyes :P
This is definitely my favourite setting!
After finishing the Deathly Hallows, I had a hard time reading for almost four years.
I love that picture that you put when you were talking about game of thrones!!!
I agree 100% with you on the Dark Artifices being "too much." What the hell people!? If Cassandra has more stories to write you better believe I will excited for them and getting my hands on them as soon as I can.
I like the way you avoided giving spoilers
Well she still spoiled me because she wrote it on the screen
Love this video! And I appreciate the fact that you warn us when you're about to mention spoilers :)

THE DIVERGENT MOVIE COMES OUT ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! I'm literally so excited!!!
Why would you marry Percy over Will? Not that I disagree, I'm just surprised because you love Will so much! (I would marry Percy over Will also)
Best score: Beautiful Creatures. I know you weren't a huge fan of the movie, but the score is really cool and great background music for while you are reading. If you don't have that problem, look up all the Imagine Dragon songs. They are awesome!
In City of bones Jace says that his father and Alec's father were parabatai, like once.
One time someone told me about Tris!!! I screamed!
I love listening to softer music while I'm reading so I'm not too distracted.
The spoiler picture thing was super awesome! Thank you
I love the music in How To Train Your Dragon! Especially Forbidden Friendship and Test Drive. Best music score ever! I actually play the soundtrack from Dances With Wolves while I read because it's amazing

Awesome sequel's sequel. Loved the whole video. And thank you for putting up warnings to spoilers.
The PJO audio books are great. I read the first three before I started listening to them, and Percy sounds exactly like I had him in my head, and I am VERY picky about how the voice sounds.

10:27
Your response to the show was my response when I read it in the book.

I literally listened to Boombox by Lonely Island while reading the entire Hunger Games series and it was the most epic thing ever, though I can't listen to it without thinking about Rue or Finnick and what happened to them.

Florence and the Machine is AMAZING
I had to mute because I'm currently reading A Clash of Kings, so I'm just wondering if you have read the A Song of Ice and Fire series?
OH MY GOD CHRISTINEEE. When you read, listen to CARA DILLON!!!! All of her songs, make a playlist and listen. First song to start with: the parting glass. The second one: the garden valley. I love her SO much, her music is very Celtic feeling and amazing when your reading fantasy, it makes everything more erethereal!!
