I think I will put the money towards trying to recover the videos instead 🥹 hahaha yes the XXL flap is HUGE!! I can never imagine myself using such a huge bag, and I don't travel enough to justify something like that. I think because the cafe is only a pop-up for 1month, they didn't really put in the work and renovate it. Was not worth the insane wait time haha. Aww so sorry to hear you couldn’t get your Paris footage back xo I love the new bags - in order of YES please get - travel XXL flap 🤣❤️ sequinned seasonal flap, mini blue/ grey zip bag that you’re considering, beige coco handle (only because it’s caviar, otherwise the pink one over beige), and the little black mini with the cool strap. For some reason I think of the bathroom each time I see the larger sized vanity so I’m not a big fan. It’s also bulky. Although it looks nice, but I keep seeing a mini baby bag when I see the cargo bags 😅🫶 no hate just my opinion! Also omg the hello kitty cafe doesn’t sound that great - taking a photo with the big hello kitty outside would been sufficient hey 😂❤ love that you go shopping Chanel with your mummy! Also… you look gorgeous in your outfit! The pastel blues and pinks = dreamy 😗👌

The pink coco is also caviar!! Yeh the vanity cases are quite bulky crossbody. The top handle makes it more functional. The clutch with chain is the only one I'm considering. But thinking maybe I just buy 1 less bag and use that money to recover the lost files haha. The Hello Kitty cafe was a let down. The giant hello kitty outside was so much cooler 🤣 I really love this tweed set hehe, thank you my love!

Try if you can, just forget about the videos. What’s done is done and shit happens. You have your memories. If you can be bothered make a video of the places you shopped and would recommend (& use your pictures) and the prices in Europe and tax back etc. people find those videos helpful. You’ve been through a lot lately so don’t dwell on the videos. Start fresh and move forward. We love watching any video you produce. Doesn’t need to be Europe. Big hugs ❤

My two favorite bags from 24K were beige sequined flap and the grey coco handle. I ended up getting a watch and a pair of sneakers, so no bag this time. I have so many bags, that I was able to resist, but it was a close call! If the sequined bag had been a little less expensive I probably would have caved and got it. But for the price, I couldn’t justify it.

You are so sweet my love 🙏 thank you so so much!! I was beating myself up about it because I worked so hard on those videos and I really should've backed them up the moment I got home from Paris. I just didn't think I needed to. And I was so sick after I got back and then the car accident, it just got pushed further and further down my long to-do list. I wouldn't have touched it if it weren't for someone buying the phone 😅 really regret the decision to get the new iphone now. Only difference to the iphone 15 pro max is the new camera controls, which is actually not that great.. Apple made it too easy to delete entire folders 🥲 I didn't even realise it until it was too late!! 🫠🫠 I am still considering maybe just sending my phone in, then at least I will know for sure and can get closure on this whole thing. Otherwise I will always wonder if I could've recovered them. And in the grand scheme of things, it's just 1 less bag. So by not buying that clutch with chain, I can put the money towards this instead and not feel as bad about it

Ahhh that's rough. It's understandable to be disappointed and upset. I would be too. :( But you don't need to apologize. You're a busy career lady who is creating all this content for fun out of your own time! I don't think anyone reasonable would demand more. 1600 is a very steep fee for no guarantee. At the end of the day, you have your memories and hopefully had a great time. That's ultimately what's most important in life. And yes, what better way to cheer up than some retail therapy and a Chanel shopping trip! As for the bags, my two cents...
Yes to the cc straps, the backpack, the rectangle w/ sequins, and the blue/gray color in general! I feel like you'd have to travel a lot to justify the XXL bag, as it'd take up a ton of space in the closet. I prefer quilting - if I wanted a vintage look, I'd buy a vintage bag. Big no to the camera bags (sooo many outside pockets, why so many??) Did the blue/gray come in the cc strap crossbody size? That would be the perfect combination!

I agree with you, the XXL bag would not be practical for everyday. Not lucky enough to be travelling that much to be able to justify a Chanel travel bag haha! I 100% prefer quilting too. I'm not a fan of vintage looking bags, but that's personal taste. Hahaha I dunno why that camera bag had 4 external pockets, the magnetic ones would not be able to fit anything.. so they are really redundant imo. I don't like where they have put the zipped pockets, makes the bag ultra bulky. That's why the black vanity-like camera bag is nicer I think. The structure and top handle will allow it to be dressed up a bit more. And the opening is fantastic, unlike the other one, will scratch your hand every time you reach inside. I think that cc strap crossbody comes in pale blue as well as beige & pink. For some reason I think the black looks best due to contrast of the ccs. I still don't gravitate towards black bags tho, so I will pass. Did you pick up anything from this collection? 🩵

My heart sank when you were narrating what happened to your files and videos. I could feel that you were holding back your tears. A friendly advice from your idol Taylor, just shake it off, girl. It’s not worth risking the AUD 1,600. Those memories will be etched in your heart forever. Does your mom have some photos of your trip though? Don’t worry about thinking that you’ve failed us, your subscribers. Whats done is done, time to move forward. 😊 Tbh I’m not crazy over 24K. Other than the fact that it has tons of black bags, if you’re a Virginie fan that could be the last you could get to remember her by. I honestly don’t like the un quilted flap bag. It’s so under designed it really bored me. If quiet luxury is still on trend that bag is definitely mute. 🤪 I do like the beige camera utility bag w top handle but it resembles my tackle box vanity that I got in AU at the Bondi junction store last year, well sis got it for me. 😂 If you’re asking about the cosmetic pouch w the strap, in my opinion it’s not really worth it. I knew that you would just keep the pink tweed flap bag. It is way better than the tweed cosmetic pouch. 👍🏻 My sister will soon fly to Rome and Florence again on Oct 10 and I’ve dodge asking her to buy me anything from Chanel’s bags except for tons of skincare and eye shadows. I found out that in Rome there are Chanel products in Via del Babuino. She is actually going to Puglia in Italy longer to sight see more than shop. But I really wanted another raffia bag and a pair of sneakers so lately I’m been inquiring thru WhatsApp and stalking the web of diff brands. I recently sold so many bags, shoes and clothes at a famous Japanese reseller and I felt so liberated! I finally sold those LV bags that I regret buying and tons of black bags that I don’t use anymore because they were too heavy and big. Now after this raffia bag I will really focus on getting my last bag. I’m in no rush because I really want to see who the new creative designer for Chanel will be. I’m also done with hoping to get an Hermes bag so it’s just Chanel or Goyard that I will zero in one day. Sadly there’s no Goyard in Rome so I found an excuse to get a second to the last bag. 😝 You know what we used to have one Hello Kitty Cafe here, it only lasted for 3 years I think. When I was in my thirties I was HK obsessed. Even my apron was HK. Now with new gimmicky stuff like Labubu in the market, Hello Kitty isn’t that great anymore imo. Hang in there my friend! I couldn’t believe in just a year you decided to switch to a new IPhone. Just the thought of the hassle of transferring files is so stressful you really need to be techie to change phones that fast. I won’t mention faith but I believe from what just happened to you perhaps the universe is telling you something. Ohh, so you did glance at Miu Miu. So I might be able to do some vlogs but it wouldn’t be about luxury shopping so I dunno if people will watch sigh. I’m still thinking about sending my phone to that company. It would cost just under 3k to retrieve the files. Do you think it be worth it? 🙈🙈 I quite like the colors from this collection. And yes lots of black bags too. Oh that’s what it’s called Coco sleek? Thats cute. I think it was just a lazy design. Agree with the letters of the 22 bag! I wished it was done from the start because it looks classier! Maybe I’m just getting more pickier with my last purchase bag thats why I tend to analyze the collection. I feel that the 2 previous ones for me were more successful in terms of style from Chanel. Oh, you’re really going to have your phone checked out. Good thing you still have photos but if the purpose is to still upload it as part of your content I think it will be way too outdated. But if it’s to preserve memories of your trip to Europe maybe you need to do that. Please update us on that. I think if I’ll be replacing my IPhone 14 I want to go back to Samsung. And even if my flip phone turned me down I really want another one day unless by that time an IPhone will come up that will catch my attn but this time I want a small only only to easily git my mni bags because thats mostly of what I’ve kept. Yeh the coco sleek had the potential to be a great bag I think! 💯 love the new mini 22!! The caviar this time is amazing, not plastic feeling and the letters on the front is amazing too!! I prefer 24b as well. I don’t think the content I shot in Europe will be outdated as only Chanel change seasons so fast. All the other brands will still have the same things now. I was planning to release it around Xmas / new years as something fun and different to my usual content. I also considered getting a flip phone maybe. Then will have no trouble fitting into my bags 🤣🤣 But still don’t know if I’ll be able to use an android phone after so many years using an iPhone 🙈 but maybe after all this I’ll finally make the leap as will be so convenient if my phone can fit into all my bags lol. I really hope Apple will come out with a flip phone 🤔 then that would solve all my problems lol
@@queenofdiamondsamy After my work stint and getting to use my old work bags, whilst I was trying to fix the cabinets to return the bags, I just googled at where I could sell my bags. Then one reseller from Japan opened here. Actually last Monday was their first anniversary.🎉 Of course I researched the company. Aside from Japan they also have other branches in SE Asia. It was my 2nd time to visit the shop and they were really legit! No fees, they just bought everything I brought and even 2 of the 15 shoes I brought had damages but they still got it! 😮 No need to consign. It really challenged my Japanese skills as I have not spoken Japanese for the past 26 years! It was beyond rusty! The one who handled my appraisal and the President were both Japanese. They were so grateful they invited me for drinks one day. I had to refuse because I can’t drink anymore with my recurring kidney stones. 😊 Well as for the money, half I saved up because I spent so much for my hospitalization, some I donated to my local church, a small portion I gave to the Filipinos working at the store and now I am being challenged to call and send messages to WhatsApp to inquire about sneakers and a raffia bag. Last night I messaged a CA from Prada in the Rinascente store at Rome because the sneakers in the color and size I wanted were just one piece and only in that store. Not even sold online. So the guy will keep it for 3 days until I ask my sister if she is willing to pick it up there or they bring it to her hotel. She will still arrive from Puglia to Rome on the 20th. It’s a bit early so I negotiated with the CA if it’s ok to deliver late but pay early should she agree to have it delivered in the hotel. He agreed. It was so difficult to converse with him because his English was not good. Now my other advance purchase is called a raffia bracelet bag from Loewe. The shape is like a cylinder and at € 980,00 that was the cheapest I could find thats not a tote style. I really wanted to match my gold Izmir sandals and this bag had tan leather trims. I lost so many bags and shoes that I feel it was justifiable to replace them with 1 piece each. I would have wanted the raffia from Celine as I have no bag from the brand but sadly because fall is near the bags I wanted were all sold out. Actually the one from Loewe is only 7 pieces in the whole of EU online and I still can’t get it because they only have 14 days to keep it in the boutique until it gets picked up. Prada on the other hand can keep it for 30 days. My sister plans to shop one day only in Rome on the 21st then leaves for Florence to shop at The Mall. I’ve contacted my nice CA at BV but he is stationed at the Mykonos BV boutique and will return on the 13th. I want to see if they have nice shoes and I wanted another mini Jodie. The one that resembles a striped shirt! So let’s see if they have it but it’s in lambskin so it might just be me drooling over it! Hahaha! 🤪 He’s very nice in fact the shearling Jodie I got from The Mall he kept it for 2 weeks! And until now he replies to me! Amy don’t regret your impulse decision to change phones as you always use that for vlogging right? And of course you wanted the quality of your videos to be good! Understandable! I knew you could be a Miu Miu girl! Me too I think their bags are a little childish but some of their RTW are good! Sometimes Chanel could be too serious with their clothing line. Yeah, I was able to watch the show. For sure they have a pool of designers thats why they don’t feel the loss of Virginie. Honestly, the first part of the show felt like clothes from Zara with those big collars! I am not impressed with the bags that they put out. And although I love the bird theme because I have finches in the house, I find the singer singing the song of Prince to be cute! Now I really miss Virginie I wished I could have asked my sister to buy me from 24A the green bag! 😂 But I am still looking forward to the new creative director and what he/she has up his sleeves. 😊

Yes very hard lesson. Because it was my older iPhone I was using it more as a storage device for all my videos. But thought I’ll upgrade my phone as I use it to film a lot. I didn’t want to end up with 3 phones haha. But now I ofc regret trying to sell it, as otherwise all my videos would still be safely on there 🥲🥲
