I love Robot Chicken and Spaceballs, enjoyed Fanboys, but hated the Family Guy so much that I only lasted 10 minutes into the first one (even though I have enjoyed some regular, non-SW Family Guy episodes). I'll still watch that FtSWHVL episode, just because I enjoy your show and look forward to hearing you rip them a new one.
Well, last month, I got Robot Chicken Star Wars 1 and 3 on DVD and Blu-Ray. Surprisingly, I got the first Robot Chicken Star Wars DVD from the Goodwill place that I work at.
The convention footage on the extra features of the first special...that panel happened on the main stage of the Orange County Convention Center...same room as the "Small Talk with Warrick Davis" panel this past April. I reference that because I know you, Nathan, saw that panel. My wife spotted you sitting not far from us. For the Robot Chicken panel, my buddy and I were sitting literally in the last, highest, row at the top of the balcony all the way at the [stage] right corner. The RC crew looked like ants from up there. It's a good thing they had the video screens going. Later in the day, walking back to our hotel, we passed Seth Green walking down the sidewalk. He was just hanging out and saying hi to random people who walked by.
Yes. It is. We walked in there after the entire place had been seated and they had probably been talking for 10 minutes or so. We never waited in line though. We just walked up and asked if there were any seats left. They said they weren't officially full but that we might not find 2 seats together...but we did. It was worth it for not having to wait in line.
Hey Nathan P Butler, do you own any Canadian Star Wars home video releases? If yes I was just wondering if they work in the USA? I think all Canadian releases have french subtitles/descriptions on the film cases alongnwith the english, USA is just english I'm pretty sure.
This isn't a show about music videos or music. The closest thing that would fit would be the Ultimate Video Collection from him, but that's not likely to be something I pick up anytime soon, if ever. The funds used for adding to this collection need to be used fairly judiciously now that we have a toddler.
Maybe you could call the episodes where you talk about the parodies "Some Nerd Yapping About the Packaging Differences" or something like that. Give the parodies a parody title.
Or something that's such an internal show referene that no one else will know what the hell it is, like the way Family Guy's second Star Wars episode was named for a single joke that wasn't even in the episode but from a prior season. I'll have to give this some thought.
Not sure if they'll end up in the timeline or not. Possibly. That probably won't be updated anyway until sometime November or later, since there's no time crunch for that, unlike other projects that must be done by mid-October.
All the episodes of RC SW were great; I need to get a copy one of these days.

Robot Chicken made episodes for the Sequel Trilogy maybe they could release it soon on DVD
I'm not a huge fan of Family Guy anymore, but I'm really interested to hear why you dislike those parodies so much. That should be fun.
