I know an author that writes PNR without sex on the page and does very well. Great answer.

You have no idea how many times I've turned on the notification bell, ans UA-cam turns it off again. I missed this video!
Thank you so much for the answer!
If I try the genre again, I'd aim for clean stories and a HFN.

Lol for the "throbbing keilbasa"🤣 I'm so glad you did this video! A lot of people don't realize how ginormous the romance genre is and how many subgenres there are. There really is something for everyone! (wink wink 😉)

Good to know for those of us who prefer not to write the sex. I've done some sex scenes but very YA since that's who I write for!

THANK YOU!!! I do not want to write sex scenes. I write some steamy lead-up scenes, but I don't enjoy writing about the act itself. I'd rather do a fade-to-black scene. I do write a sex scene every once in a while, if it's important to the book, but otherwise, I aim for not having to write them...

You’re so welcome! Lots of authors don’t like to write them, and many readers don’t like to read them. It’s perfectly awesome to have sex happen “off stage”.
