Super easy way to remove the chrome toppers.. once you have the endcaps off, pull the dome halves towards each other on the top side. Picture a gullwing door function and the dome topper will pop right off and the 2 halves with seperate. No need to fight with sliding the strip off.
Could you guide me how to re wire mine to a functioning control panel for my truck I have a aerodynic federal signal model 25 RWLI series A1 the harness was cut it works but I wanna wore it to use on the truck
Should be able to slide the dome off where the harness comes into the frame find the same gauge wire going to the terminal board from the harness add some female connectors to your new wire harness then run the cable to your switch box

I’ve done that before and snapped the lenses. That’s a last resort for me now
