1989 Chevy Caprice 9C1 new light bar test. Swapped a aerodynic for a street hawk. This beautiful mint car has never been put in service. Some lucky people in the northern Ohio area look out for this car at police car shows.

I want that car
Perhaps would a added a fine 3M rubbing compound at the end and cleaned it. Coat it in boiled linseed oil and let it absorb in heat for a few cycles. Wipe super dry and clean with mild soap, then waxing. Makes a world of difference. You're finishing removing any possible scratches at that point, reabsorbing some protective oils in the plastic, and somewhat sealing it.
To say im jealous is an understatement! Beautiful setup!
I have the same lightbar, but heavily modified eletronics inside, because all the old plastic gears broke, so now it does a cool flash pattern.
There's just nothing that beats the look of a rotating lightbar atop a squared-off police car at night time. Awesome stuff!

how to acquire one
This is such a cool idea, i might do this with my aerodynic lighbar. All the gears are stripped so i will have to use a different rotation mechanism.
You can use pretty much any rotator. Street hawk rotators are the best/easiest retrofit but code 3 lp and xl rotators work good too

Do you know how to do a steady burn on one of these things I’ve been looking everywhere
There’s two pins on the back of the circuit board tap them with a screwdriver or something metal to jump them scroll through the patterns until you get to steady burn

What products do you use ?
I don't know how I ended up with so many code 3 rotators but I used to use them on all sorts of stuff.
My bar front right corner and front left corner light do not turn on for some reason.
On the corner heads there’s a white jumper wire between the front and rear head if that’s no connected it will shut the power to the “dummy head” if that is connected check your power cable going to the bar the wire for the front corners may not be connected
gotta ask, i've got a ledx 2100 for restoring my crown vic and i want to look into rewiring it completely because they are quite crispy and what was blue is now brown. Is it really just all spade connectors and straight wire going out of it?
Yes that’s all they are. You will most likely have to use new connectors due to them being extremely brittle
Besto have one 200-watthrough two speakers than two 100-watt sirens each through one speaker.
I ran a speaker for each siren. That truck and setup is long gone

I don’t ship light bars.
When i did mine i used 1000, 2000 and then 3000 wet sand. Hand polished and hand waxed and came out decent but definitely needa try a drill next time for polishing it
Drill definitely speeds up the process
I like to bust shit all to fuck while I work on it. It usually insures that I won't waste any money on a project.

Those look fantastic. I’d honestly wonder about sanding them down and spraying them with automotive clear coat to protect them.
You can but it will flake over time

Good place to start looking is Facebook in the light bar pages and find someone who’s willing to do international shipping. It may be difficult due to the expense of shipping a lot of people including myself have been burned by international shipping so we tend to stay away from it but there’s a few guys out there who do

A lot of the boards are being used if good. All that would be left is the card and bracket
@@mmpse2868 okay. i just got back an all red 2100 and am now debating if i want to make it blue or keep it as red (im in ny but the bar isnt going in service.......YET)
