- Unfortunately this week Rooster Teeth was shutdown by Warner Bros Discovery. While it may not be much of a surprise the hope is everyone affect can find something new. RIP to our childhoods.

The red flag for me was when Geoff hit that big depression.....at one point he said (and I'm paraphrasing) "I just miss my friends I started this all with" during a podcast.
Get woke go broke, end of story. they cared more about pushing THE MESSAGE than making fun content.
Well I hate to be controversial, but rooster teeth started going downhill when they started getting more woke, to where all there normal fans quit watching because they didn’t want to watch that woke stuff and only a small percentage of people continued watching because they were also woke. So basically woke=broke

@@thenewkalpa nah, let’s look at rooster teeth’s main show, red vs blue, majority of their fan base is men and given their humor in earlier seasons using words that would be considered highly offensive in todays terms, they attracted a certain type of viewers. Now fast foreward to the last few seasons of red vs blue, that humor is gone, all the main characters are basically gone.
@nauticalfiction4795 That doesn't prove numbers went down, let alone numbers going down due to "wokeness".
And even if it were true men make up a majority of their audience, why would it be a bad thing to market to people other than men? That's silly to expect people only to make art for you in particular. It's like a child saying "mine". Imagine if RT decided to make art not marketed to people named "nauticalfiction4795" and people who live in Texas because, let's say, a majority of their fans aren't Texan and aren't interested in oceans. How would you feel?
I’m personally disappointed about red vs blue cause they were planning to do one final season with the original writer.. like it has really good potential. Sad we’ll never get to see it.

In the announcement it says "Though not intentional, it's only appropriate that our last season Red vs. Blue coincides with us navigating this closure", so it sounds like the last season is coming out.

Because it pretty much did. Once the split off happened the creatures were basically done.
