This is a testament to just how tough the factory Chevrolet small block is. The part that broke wasn't made by Chevrolet but the factory block did impressively!
Procomp heads have always been garbage... no good for boost... I had an NA 408 running those piles and had to helicoil almost every GD bolt hole in them...
It made more boost than expected to. In return we weren't running a high enough octane. Imo it detonated. Lowered the compression a bunch and raised the octane and going back on the dyno here real soon 👍

What was the initial issue? You knew exactly what happened the second it popped, which tells me you were expecting it
