  • I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion to think that adding shines to eyes is the most satisfying part of drawing them. When done well, it can really make eyes feel expressive and alive. But it can also easily look off or overdone, so its good to have some sense of what you’re doing and why.

Great advice! Thank you! ❤ I just found your channel and will subscribe. Hopefully, this won’t come out sounding unkind because I truly enjoy your videos. If you could just speak a little slower. I guess my age doesn’t help. My kids also talk very fast and I’m constantly asking them to repeat what they said, my mind can’t track their words fast enough. 😂

Yes! Eyes are one of my favorite things to draw and eye shines really add that extra X factor that take eyes to the next level. Also I find it funny in the video cause I have recently been doing arecane eye studies.

I have an oddly speciffic question, because it is hard to find referenzes for that. If the person I´m drawing has bright, blue eyes but there is fire in front of the person, therefor reflekting inside the eyes, how mutch of the original eyecolor is still visable? I hope you get what I mean 😅 It would be great if anyone could be able to answer this. Thank you in advance

I always put the eye highlights last as an indication that, I… Am… Finished…!

Most people don't have name for their style so you just call their style by their name. The Kuzillon style.
