Honestly if you aren't picky or just need to replace a damaged or rusty bumper this is pretty solid for $100! If you are picky and don't want any flaws or less than factory quality it may not be for you!

They make a bumper for the 99/06 trucks that takes a 99-06 bumper and integrates the step from the 14-18 body style into it , looks pretty good
I got an Extended cab Short bed and I love it! Just replaced the tired 5.3 with lower mile donor and put long tubes on it, got a lot of my inspiration from these vids!
I mean for 100.00 it looks decent. I think you can remove the dent on your bumper and make it look pretty clean. Take it off and set it on a piece of flat plywood and maybe even a piece of cardboard between the bumper and plywood. Then with a block of wood and a small sledgehammer tap it out from the backside.
Those hail dent repair dudes could probably solve that original dent for the price of a new Amazon bumper....

The 14-18 rear bumpers look too big on GMT800s in my opinion. They do look good on the 900s though
They look way to bulky on the older trucks like that, stock bumper is the way to keep it imo

Bought a similar replacement off eBay. For the price, it serves my old truck well. Still shines up nice with some polish and elbow grease. 2005 Silverado with 20 years and 235k miles of Michigan rust belt driving has the rockers, cab corners, and fenders ate up with car cancer. Still trucking though; pushing to notch the quarter million mark.

@@itsdknation540 there’s no telling. I ordered my wife a car last year and it was built, shipped, and sat in a rail yard an hour away from the dealer for 2 weeks
The GMT-900 rear bumper looks alright, not to bulky like the 14+
I think original looks better though but to each their own 🙌🏼
they sell the oem look ones with the step conversion and i think it would look really good on chomper
I put a '14 bumper on my 05, it bolted right up n the side steps come in pretty handy when getting in n out of the bed, just wish I wouldve gotten the black painted instead of chrome.

PDR guy could get that dent out of your stock bumper easy i bet. As a rul of thumb i hate the idea of replacing relatvley clean, good oem oarts with aftermarket junk so i think it would be worth the investment.
I see it as a bumper is a bumper if ur gonna get frustrated over a little ass dent even tho u went cheap with it then spend quality money for quality, the bumper is nicer then what you had do deal with it , be grateful
How u gonna tell the dude to "be grateful" when he's spending his own money lol. The video is literally about showing us that you get what you pay for. He's not gonna "be grateful" and keep the bumper that had a literal crease in the chrome when he could EASILY go buy a brand new OEM one buddy
