This Car is living legend, and will go on forever, if you look after it and services. This the car good to use for business or lifestyle as it would be reliable like its previous models before it. And come with 5 years warranty like all Toyotas.
It's mind-blowing how different the UK and US markets are. She talks about how massive the HiLux is but it's still smaller than the smallest pickup Toyota sells in the US.
I have a Hilux on order but actually would love it if we got bigger trucks. I have a small car for city driving and the big stuff used for towing large loads mainly on forest tracks.
Because a Hilux doesn't fit in some people's driveways in some parts of the UK. Here in Asia there are some parking buildings that cannot fit a pickup truck.
Remember these are commercial vehicles and the road tax for these is half what you'd pay on Range rover. They should be compared with something like a Ford transit rather than a soft roader like hyundai. Bought an 8yr old hilux invincible with hardtop a few weeks ago, absolute go anywhere beast
For me a single cab with a solid roof attachment from cab to the tail, would make into an interesting Camper vehicle, with its off road capability and its get up and go anywhere range. Cheers for sharing Rebecca.
Visit Australasia where Hilux and Ranger have been the top selling vehicles for the last several years. In fact in Australia, the Ranger outsells the Fiesta and Focus about 50:1, and the VW Golf about 8:1
I have a new Invincible and love it..it suits me and my out door lifestyle. It’s tough and rugged just like me even if it’s not as smooth as fancy X5’s and the likes 😂
Correct. I am not sure what the introduction is about. The Nissan and Mitsubishi are indeed gone. The new ranger is coming to the Uk, since the Ranger has become the best selling truck in the UK. I expect the platform sharing Amarok sibling to be available too
The ford ranger and vw amarok are going to be replaced next year the only pickup leaving is the Mitsubishi L200 but that's because Mitsubishi stopped exporting cars to Europe this year.
Ford are bringing out a new Ranger, and they have partnered with VW who will be bringing out an Amarok version, so i don't know where you get the idea those are all gone!
The Invincible X is chosen by many, and is a great car. Yes, a workhorse, but very comfy, safe and capable. Long journeys are a joy, the 2.8 engine is powerful, it will tow anything, and my daughter says the sound system is fantastic. I recommend the auto box,, more powerful and relaxing to use
The Toyota Hilux and Isuzu pickup trucks are the best in the world for reliablety longevity and that's a fact SO CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK! or anywhere else for that matter. 👍
I think the Taco is much wider than the HiLux, which felt very cramped compared to a Silverado. Though it has more security equipment. It would be interesting to see if Land Rover makes a full size pickup.
I'm here only to check orange colour... what is she talking about, parking spaces in front of supermarket etc... this is legendary vehicle, though as it gets ,used by paramilitary units , special forces, workers ..and now we must worry how we will park in front of supermarket hahaha..just buy a minivan and make sure you get home on time ...omg. next do a tractor review and explain to us how it is not good for everyday use around town. And make a review of one of the best off road vehicle in the world by showing grocery bag hook on the back seats... omg really?
city chick, has no clue, prob following a scrip written by someone who has never been outside the suburbs and has never done a days physical labour in their life.
They make these bigger than they need to be puts me off I had a 2005 Ford Ranger crew cab and it was perfect for work and home I had this from 2005 to 2020. repair bills £100 per year servicing And one repair bill of £500 new brake pads & calipers The new ones too big Tailgates are rubbish as they do not fold down any more , so the idiots loading up damage the back by running into them with a forklift truck Wake up pick up manufacturers We don’t need all the tech and rubbish you put on to bump up the price How about a basic truck for work
Most markets where these are top sellers maximum rang is needed, also about half of those markets electricity is not very "reliable" as in acquiring it without brown outs or straight up black outs
Toyota aren't in the past. They actually still produce the beat pick up trucks available. If you mean they're industrial and basic? That's because that's what they are designed to be. They are commercial heavy duty vehicles that wanky people want to pretend they are tough by owning one. The fact that Toyota still produce a rugged truck when every other manufacturer has prettied theirs up. Theybare designed to work. That's exactly what these do
Hang on, so in this review they’ve used a 4 foot cutie to make the vehicle look big, it’s not a big vehicle , what are you guys driving in England go carts? The backseat are only for toddlers not adults at all, these vehicles are the highest selling car in Australia, driven by soccer mums and tradies.
So these vehicles are going to disappear? In France they have taxed double cab versions so much you wouldn't want to buy one.. I drove on of these on the motorway and my god they are terrible..
They are designed to haul loads and Go places your standard car can't. I own this model and it's amazing. I live in NZ and am always on the beach or towing motorbikes through the forest. It's the perfect wagon
Well really to be honest who actually cares or even buys a pickup in England? A van has more and safer load space, the same payload capacity, some vans have 4x4 capabilities and the same towing capacity. And if you get a crew van it's family friendly
I'm not going to throw all of my green waste in the back of a van... Or the ruble.... Or when I need to pick up a loose 1ton of gravel, where are they going to put it? There's a lot of ppl out there which put them to use
I’ve got one on order, work in Forestry so often down very muddy tracks. A van is much better for load space but unless I was to get one of the awesome Iveco 4x4’s none would suit. Would love one of them but cost and size are the issue.
“one of the few pickup trucks left”…. Toyota has the Tacoma and Tundra, Ford has the Maverick, Ranger, F series, Jeep has the Gladiator, Honda has the Ridgeline, Nissan has the Frontier and Titan, Chevy has the Colorado and Silverado and then there’s the Ram truck
Unless you need a pick up truck for what they are designed for. Then they are amazing. I'd love to see a vw golf tow 3.t tons and have a ton of gear in the boot with 5 adults inside.

Yes, massive as UK market. No point comparing with vehicles available in another country.
Everything is massive in the good old USA especially waist lines 😉😂
Hilux is much better than Tacoma (smallest in American market).
I have a Hilux on order but actually would love it if we got bigger trucks. I have a small car for city driving and the big stuff used for towing large loads mainly on forest tracks.

Best in class and looks great in that colour! 10 year warranty speaks volumes
In fact in Australia, the Ranger outsells the Fiesta and Focus about 50:1, and the VW Golf about 8:1
we atleast get the 2.8 instead of the 2.4 you get over there
@botthead1 what hahah we get the 2.8
Check your facts. Ranger and Amarok aren't going anywhere. Both are destined for major updates.
Amarok hasn’t been sold new for months if not years. It is coming back but not yet.
I have a new Invincible and love it..it suits me and my out door lifestyle. It’s tough and rugged just like me even if it’s not as smooth as fancy X5’s and the likes 😂
I could be wrong but it looks like the new Ranger and it's Amarok twin will be sold in the U.K when released next year...
I have a 2019 Toyota Hilux and I like its basic simplicity and its uncomplicated 4 cylinder diesel engine.
Thanks Rebecca…enjoyed the video!!
As the Ranger is the best-selling truck in Europe, the current-generation may be going but it is being replaced, as is the Amarok.
Correct. I am not sure what the introduction is about. The Nissan and Mitsubishi are indeed gone. The new ranger is coming to the Uk, since the Ranger has become the best selling truck in the UK. I expect the platform sharing Amarok sibling to be available too
Love the pony tail ❤❤

Nice to see its boots season again x
This car was used as the police petrol in Singapore.
Electric windows and roof grab handles for the rear, perfect.
The Toyota Hilux must be good as it's now in use by the British SAS, and they don't muck about when it comes to equipment selection !.
Well it has been tested extentsivly by various terrorists like Issis and the Mujahideen etc so guess if you can't beat them, join them. :)
"Turning the steering feels like a suggestion". OMG 😲 Lol.
Still have a soft spot for the Isuzu myself...
Needs a bigger engine !
Still better spec than our 🇵🇭 midrange model
Great looking exterior but really far behind competitors when it comes to the interior and tech.
A price premium makes no sense to me…
Ford are bringing out a new Ranger, and they have partnered with VW who will be bringing out an Amarok version, so i don't know where you get the idea those are all gone!
If i have interpreted this review correctly, Rebecca is saying that the vehicle is pretty much a DO NOT BUY unless you're a tradesman.
Thats dumb. A car is a car. Don't matter if you a tradesman if you like it then it all you need

What do you mean the Navara and Ranger are gone?
Navara is actually being discontinued. She got the ranger wrong. Its going to get a new model next year I think and they said with a phev
@@WorldwideHypercars thanks. Thats crazy tho, i love the Navara / Frontier NP300

Where it makes sense is when you need a reliable off roader without needing to spend a fortune on a used landcruiser 70 or 200 series.
I think the Taco is much wider than the HiLux, which felt very cramped compared to a Silverado. Though it has more security equipment.
It would be interesting to see if Land Rover makes a full size pickup.
New South African built Ranger on the way.
Like your review of teh Toyota Pickup Truck.. And you say no othert on the market.. What about the Mercedes Benz Pickup Track ??.
They stopped making the Mercedes pickup truck was a Nissan in drag.

you messed that review by comparing a hilux to a land rover, 2 totally different purpose cars
city chick, has no clue, prob following a scrip written by someone who has never been outside the suburbs and has never done a days physical labour in their life.
Rebecca makes awesome reviews! She is so classy! For me, the Hilux is great if you want to work with it long term.
Gorgeous lady an smart truck

Why is it still turbocharged diesel fuel engine? ⛽ 🤔 Thought we were going hybrid or even full electric now.
Most markets where these are top sellers maximum rang is needed, also about half of those markets electricity is not very "reliable" as in acquiring it without brown outs or straight up black outs
If you want a work horse pickup, you don't buy hybrid or electric pickup truck; you buy a diesel turbo.
Nah, it’s not sad because it’s “the last”, it’s sad because Toybota are so far in the past.
If only you knew how many of these Toyota sells around the world.

This is dense. Why is she disappointed because you cannot ponce around in it? Surely it's meant primarily as a pick up. For trade?! Fucking nuts
guess someone hit the wall, and not talking about the truck here..
