(BAM) Money Money Money! It's so funny in the rulers world! Money Money Money! Never hungry in the rulers world! (vocals) All the things I would do If I Took all of their money In the rulers world!
Does sound too electronic and fastpaced to be truely medieval in my humble opinion. But as a true 70ties kid (born 1971), growing up with ABBA on the FM transistor, this version has a light, carefree, airy feel to it, which may not fit well to the speculations in the lyrics, but still I do like it.
Back in 1997 as part of a community festival, I decided to write a staged production of one of the tales from the Mabinogion (a collection of Welsh legends) called "The Dream of Rhonabwy" which has a section where the main character stays at a person's home and pays them with a coin. That prompts the wife to start imagining what she can do with that money and I used this song as the base with the line "So I must leave, I'll have to go to Constantinople" and amazingly, the line flowed!
I laboureth all night, I laboureth all day To pay the crown the debt I hath to pay Isn't it sorrowful And still seemeth to be not a single penny left for me Isn't it sorrowful? In my dreams I ath me a plan If I married a crowned woman I wouldn't have to laboureth at all I could fooleth around and hath a ball Money, money, money Musteth be funny in the royal world Money, Money, Money Always sunny in the royal world Oh ho all the things I couldeth do If I had a little money In the royal world. A woman like that is hard to findeth But I canst getteth her off my mind Isn't this sorrowful? And if she happened to hath be free I wonderst would she not fancieth me? Isn't this sorrwful? So I must leaveth too Spain I must go To the ports of merchants and to Monaco To win a fortune, and fame My life wouldest never be the same Money, money, money Musteth be funny in the royal world Money, Money, Money Always sunny in the royal world Oh ho all the things I couldeth do If I had a little money In the royal world. Money, money, money Musteth be funny in the royal world Money, Money, Money Always sunny in the royal world Oh ho all the things I couldeth do If I had a little money In the royal world.

So....may we look forward to "Dancing Queen" in the future? (Apologies if you've already done it and I just haven't seen it.) Queen Elizabeth danced the galliard for 20 minutes every morning, and that is one VIGOROUS dance.

Sounds to much like ge ge no kitao to me.
I agree, more in the genre of Jean Michelle Jarre's Oxygene or Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells. I like it but it doesn't sound medieval enough!
That's too bad
@@danielsellers8707 Agree every word, with addition that it's not a medieval at all.
