There are recorded witchcraft and sorcery court hearings throughout the medievals but those were largely individual cases and not symptomatic for a broader sorcery hysteria. Apart from that, people sentenced to death by church courts for sorcery were mostly hung or drowned and not burned.

Imagine the bards playing this literally in the 1400s tavern…. People would completely be mesmerized by the rhythm and melody. Obviously they’d be puzzled by the unfamiliar notes of it but will start to love it…. Probably declare it the music from the heavens. This music would have become so popular that it would make it to the castles of kings and queens they would listen to it every day!
And than one day people will realize that the bards were actually time travelers gone into the future and came with the music of the 20th century! What a tale it would be……
