- Waikiki also known as Waikiki Beach is a neighborhood of Honolulu on the south shore of the island of Oʻahu in the U.S. state of Hawaii.
Waikiki is most famous for Waikiki Beach, which is one of six beaches in the district, along with Queen's Beach, Kuhio Beach, Gray's Beach, Fort DeRussy Beach and Kahanamoku Beach. Waikiki Beach is almost entirely man-made.
Waikiki (Hawaii) is home to public places including Kapiʻolani Park, Fort DeRussy, Kahanamoku Lagoon, Kūhiō Beach Park and Ala Wai Harbor. Waikiki was the first capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii from 1795 to 1796.

This was uploaded 13 days before i arrived here with my family after a 14 hour flight. 10 months later, I'd do anything to be back there

Had the privilege to visit this amazing place,,2006 , hope it hasn’t changed,only films like these can show what Hawaii is all about ,met some great people who showed us the real Hawaii, it was the year of the celebration of king David so lots going on , met this Hawaiian family on the beach next thing we were at there home bbq , horse riding, took me to pearl harbour, so grateful to them ,, may never meet them again but thank you for the memories 😊

Ugly boxy skyscrapers lol they could've made them different shapes and curvy or atleast colorful. The contrast of the sirens to the natural setting is quite jarring. The water and sky is beautiful though.
