- Waikiki also known as Waikiki Beach is a neighborhood of Honolulu on the south shore of the island of Oʻahu in the U.S. state of Hawaii.
Waikiki is most famous for Waikiki Beach, which is one of six beaches in the district, along with Queen's Beach, Kuhio Beach, Gray's Beach, Fort DeRussy Beach and Kahanamoku Beach. Waikiki Beach is almost entirely man-made.
Waikiki (Hawaii) is home to public places including Kapiʻolani Park, Fort DeRussy, Kahanamoku Lagoon, Kūhiō Beach Park and Ala Wai Harbor. Waikiki was the first capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii from 1795 to 1796.

WOW, stores that are really open, no one rioting and stealing. No drugs or people laying on side walk passed out. Its actually clean. This is what happens when you enforce the law.

Please. I’ve lived in Waikiki for 20 years. Don’t let this video fool you. The corruption, drugs, homeless, thieves, Illegal gaming, hit & runs, are all very much alive and well.
Try doing a video at midnight next time instead of the early morning.

Excellent video, I lived there from 2007-2013 and miss it everyday. I moved to Cebu Philippines after Hawaii and wanna go back. My early 20s in the army were spent there every chance I got. Best years of my life.
whats so good about it. it doesnt look anything special from this walking tour. Granted i grew up in Florida so this looks much like where I grew up in FL

My dream place 🥺🥺
My dream was to live in a country where I could leave the house without fear of being robbed or killed, because in Brazil you live in fear 24 hours a day, you can't even use your cell phone on the street, it sucks here. I wanted to live in the USA, even if it was to clean public bathrooms, at least I could live without fear of being robbed and killed.

I thought it was really funny when I visited a few years ago that if you want 99% of items eg Beer, Snacks, Ciggs, Gifts, Sunscreen, etc. the only store is pretty much ABC

Waikiki only takes up 6% of the island....the rest of the island of Oahu (94%) is majestic beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
