Mark, Thanks for making this. I grew up in the Bay Area then joined the military. I haven’t lived there since the 90’s. This video gave me nostalgia of my youth. Thanks Mark!
I ‘ve lived in the Bay Area since the 80s, and I love the wine country. It’s one of the most wonderful, beautiful places on earth! And yes, it’s true, the Bay Area has changed quite a lot. I love the weather, the area, the scenery, the terrain, but it’s SOOO expensive, to live here. Healthcare has deteriorated, many medical professionals and Drs have left bc they can’t afford to live here, all the good restaurants are gone, there are few niceties like a good French bakery (or ANY bakery), the seafood shops have gone, no butchers or delis, and it’s become very built up in an unattractive way. Few to none family run businesses, everything is a chain, even the Asian markets, which are equal to the number of traditional American supermarkets like Safeway. Even Whole Foods is nothing special now. It just feels so different living here. I no longer like it, but we have our home we have invested so much of ourselves in. Can’t take it with you. 😢
@@orlandorodriguez7235That steak looked cooked perfectly to me (solid pink-red edge to edge) and I could tell by how loose on the fork it was, it had to be very delicious and tender. I wish I'd trained to be a chef. The passion and love they put into their food is incredible. Your channel is awesome, you're so humble yet so knowledgeable and easy to watch.
As any chef will tell you, our entire service economy - the restaurant business as we know it - in most American cities, would collapse overnight without Mexican workers. Some, of course, like to claim that Mexicans are “stealing American jobs.” But in two decades as a chef and employer, I never had ONE American kid walk in my door and apply for a dishwashing job, a porter’s position - or even a job as a prep cook. I prefer the street food of all parts of Middle East that Mark has made us experienced. That is “real” food. Thank you for your amazing enthusiasm and passion 🙏
Definitely a great high-class Wine & food Train adventure.
I will definitely take a tour on that beautiful wine train tour thank you for letting us know about this experience
It's just amazing man! It is awesome feeling to see you eating
Today's a beautiful day, and yesterday was a beautiful day, so that means it's a great life. Love from Korea🇰🇷💕
Grew up in the Bay Area and this Napa dinner train is one of my top 10s “date destination” checklist lol 🚂🍷🥗🧀
Thank you for visiting our beautiful California and having a great time.
The quality of food and presentation is great considering it's served on a train.
Pls stay connected 🙏💐
Wow!!! That was awesome Mark! Loved every bit of it. Great job..also, mad respect to the staff and especially to the kitchen staff! Proud of my Latinos!
That food looks almost as good as those tacos in TJ. I still am traumatized by Mark's amazing videos from there. I lived in the Bay Area for almost a decade, and the beauty and nostalgia, coupled with such a good vibe from the video, was powerful and comforting. Bon apetit.
I Just Luv This Family. Stay Blessed Alway's

I’m so happy you’re up North, as I grew up in the Bay Area… I always wanted to try this in Napa Valley but never had the opportunity to. I’m so happy you posted about the wine train and your experience, made me feel less homesick since I moved out of the Bay in 2016. Thank you so much for posting this.

Napa valley is legendary not just for world-class wine but also fantastic restaurants. I hope you will be visiting some of them in future videos.
The price is very reasonable, the experience and the food makes you forget about the price. Plus the team moves so amazing. Thanks for the tour!

The price isn't reasonable at all...the thing I liked about Mark's channel is that he promoted street food that could match any culinary experience in the world. I appreciate him branching out but this is not good value for money.
@@007JNR oh wow that's a strong comment, but I appreciate it ❤
@@007JNR if you are broke just say that 🤦🏻♀️
