Would have been interesting to see Niterider's Spike in action. I doubt it would have been able to pierce through Mr Nasty or Maximus but it looked cool.
Ideas for future roboteers ('cause I'm never gonna use them); Retractable drill bits, lightest way to reliably pierce armor. Bonus points if it's on a mini that jumps and latches on. Gyrostabilized spinning top. Basically a beyblade. Might pass inspection if it can jump. More chainsaw motors - Any spinner, but especially tumbler.. Multiple independent drives.
Niterider: Tv Spike go brrrrr Night Raider: It lasted much longer than I thought it would RT81: I honestly liked this bot; It's just a shame it was so slow and fragile Mad Dog: That's a lifter, sir, not a flipper Direct Action: Another bot I liked. It had a powerful weapon, good drive, and was pretty durable; It just couldn't get traction and the disc lost its teeth. Bash Gordon: Cool idea, poor execution. (I was actually planning to make an RC out of this robot using a Beta toy). Bondi Titch: One of the best stock robots Robot Wars ever had Zeus: It wasn't even that bad of a bot; It was just that Black Hole was a lot better unfortunately.
Congratulations and ululations on reaching five thousand million Subscribers! Yes, 5,000,000,000 is NOT five 'billion' because I'm old-school English not French or American and a billion is always going to be a million-million to me, so there. 1974 be damned.) Despite my weak grasp of the nature of reality I'm proud to support this Channel and am considering awarding it a milliard [sic] of knighthoods. Yay, party time, whoopee, etc. You put a lot of work into your videos to keep them entertaining and interesting, Bloop, and it's appreciated. Here - have a hug and a couple of these ♥♥ (ooh er...). On a less squishy and more nerdy note, you're performing a valuable service in creating a comprehensive record of robot combat footage. It's good to see how far things have come. Important, too. Humble beginnings, and all that. You get the clearest view of the future by standing atop the smoking wreckage of the past. Far too much of human history has been censored, bowdlerised and sanitised to hide the embarrassing bits and make its current creators appear like unto gods worthy of your vote (whoops, sorry, bit of politics there; my name's Ben Elton, good night). By covering everything in robot fighting - not just the £25,000 superstars - you're giving today's budding roboteers an honest view of where their hobby came from. [My first bot cost £100, weighed 100 lbs, and was pounded into about 100 pieces. Sigh.] Seeing these machines makes me both happy and sad. Happy that the roboteers now exist in digital format and won't be forgotten (the thrifty BBC regularly attacked its vast, expensive-to-maintain analogue tape archives, recording over and erasing all sorts of fascinating stuff); but I'm sad that the party-pooping House Robots always had to come storming in and ruin things. This was like watching Auntie Beeb the Builder drive her JCB through a children's party. Crushed kids; broken dreams; jelly and ice cream everywhere. She could at least have let them blow out the candles before smashing the cake to bits. Good luck blowing out the candles on your 50K Subscriber cake, Bloop. Keep all that floppy hair away from the flames... ;-)
Hey, sorry to not say anything relating to *this comment* of yours, but ever since i said that magic word on your reply on my comment on an NHRL vid, I haven't gotten a response, is this because I was supposed to say *the* magic word, or was I right with saying *a* magic word?
I felt really bad for Direct Action, there weapon looked really powerful but they just got a very tough draw against Storm 2, probably the worst robot they could face in the New Blood
@@oliverprice114 yeah I was aware of that but it was quite a shame that neither them or PulverizeR made it to the main competition, they should've been reserves for Thunderpants and Terrorhurtz when they both pulled out IMO
@@BlooperSphoof1 actually I was talking about the TV show the whole time I just felt like I was gonna regret talking about this show in the middle of a comment selection that enjoys watching these :P
love robot wars...really don't understand the value of the "house" robots that weigh 10x as much as the competing robots. Get rid of them and let the competitors "compete"
17 years on, RT81 must still be walking to the arena edge
That was some good driving for a young newbie on Bondi Titch.
Loved this looking forward to every series 7 first round fight for the next installment of this series
If you think that's gonna be long just wait for the series 3 one 😬😬😬

@@DT21T I am aware, there's nothing I can do about that. If you can figure any fixes for that issue I'd happily try them.
The moral of the story is, don't call your robot Night-something.
So that’s why my bot “Night Night” exploded as soon as I spray painted the name onto it... damn...

Congratulations on 50k subscribers and nice
Series 3 will contain every single heat with at least 4 robots from each heat and will be about 1 and a half hours long.
I only now noticed the order you put the clips in the intro and why, very cool

Actual entanglement devices (like the kevlar fibre inlays in pants for use with chainsaws)
Although not a one-fight bot, I always liked Pressure as a concept

Only just realised how recent this one was. Been watching the others. Congrats on 50k.

You should do another ‘best of’, I love that series and there’s a lot of bots you can do
If you find my new second channel, BlooperSphoof2, I've been making more Best Of videos and putting them all on there
Interesting to see STORM II here! Nearly pitted themselves here before, as we know well, going on to be ROBBED of the Series 7 title by Typhoon 2.
Chopper’s weapon might and I repeat might be able to damage an egg’s shell. Nah, no way
Shame about Direct Action, I thought it could have done a lot better in the main competition

They try VERY hard to be flashy
