Your recipe is my GO TO dessert ALWAYS for church, funerals… EVERYTHING. . I take mine out 10 minutes early and CAREFULLY add either pecans OR walnuts on top. THEN PUT IT BACK IN FOR 10 to 15 minutes with them on top. Be careful not to break the top of it so do t add too many (weight). I love it with the nuts. For me it’s too sweet with a topping. BLESS YOU! I can not cook ANYTHING and this has made me a star in my community lol. It’s PERFECTION!!
This pie paired with Sugar Spun Runs pie crust recipe was a hit at thanksgiving this year! It was my first time trying one of your recipes and I’m excited to try more.
The timing is perfect for this pie for the Holidays. I'll take your advice and microwave the cut slice a bit to warm and make it more gooey. Your new test kitchen is beautiful. Heather did a great job filming. Lucy is adorable. I actually enjoy having this style of video where it more like normal cooking with checking the recipe and even if there would be oops moments. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I’m not sure if you’re replying to me or someone else. I’ve never had trouble with this pie setting. And baking the crust actually doesn’t have anything to do with the filing setting.
This pie is wonderful. I watch all your videos. Let me congratulate you on your weight loss. I've lost 110 lbs. Happy cooking!

@@courtheath5138 Love this so much! Thank you!!
@@Southernbite I had to add that I put the pie back in for 10-15 minutes after adding the nuts. I edited it on my comment.

My most favorite pie in the world.
It's a tie between this, pecan pie, and key lime pie for me... but this one is just so good!!
It is so good to see you and your beatiful kitchen. Lucy looks like she bunches of fun. Will you be sending Sunday Supper in the future
Yes! We're got things in the works!
Does it need salt?
@@ksmill09 I don’t think it needs it, but a good pinch certainly won’t hurt.

Stacy - Why in the world is your microwave in another room???? There's a spot just waiting for it on your countertop.
Ha! I don't love all the clutter on the countertop and honestly don't use the microwave a ton, so we just tucked it into the butler's pantry area. :)
Your pie isn't setting because you didn't bake your pie crust first. That is a cream pie.
