yeah that a nice video my friend you truly good keep rocking :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sick cover man! That vintage jm is absolutely badass. Also, checked your other videos and it looks like you're from my neck of the woods. Keep rockin man!
Thank you man! I appreciate it. The baritone JM is what I use for anything heavy. Absolutely love it. I go to it over my 7 string if whatever I'm playing can be done with 6 strings. Also from middle TN. Keep an eye out, because I'm planning on posting more regularly on here.
Thanks dude!! I'm thinking he uses Dd as well probably with a capo. My strat just holds tuning better without the capo. That jazzmaster has really impressed me with tone especially with the gojira plugin. It's my go-to for anything heavy. Had to use the octave pedal in the plugin as well, but was super stoked with the tone result. Thanks for checking out the cover!
Went with quite a bit of gain on the amp, plus gain through the pedal then I used the octave pedal in the plugin to drop it to drop d (complete octave down)
sick cover mate, what strings are you using on your VM bari? I've got one too and it's long overdue a string change, would love to get it to go low while remaining somewhat playable, the current strings and setup means anything below A standard is borderline unplayable
Thank you! So on this cover I actually used standard baritone gauge (14-68) however I used a pitch shifter to get it as low as I did. If you have a plugin like neural DSP gojira which is what I used, you can pitch shift in the plug-in. That's the easiest way if you don't want to have to get a set up for it. If you want to go that low without a pitch shifter, I highly recommend using string joy and building a custom baritone set of strings through them. (18, 24, 36w, 42w, 68w, 90w) would get you in double drop d easily.
Double track everything and you’re golden my guy! Sick cover!
Lovin that Hog pedal man!!
It rips dude! Makes dialing his tone so much easier.
Damn, that On Letting Go got me. I miss peak Circa Survive.
Circa is hands down my favorite band. Juturna and on letting go are such perfect records. Love hearing from other circa fans.
now this is a hog crankin cover

Great cover dude! I reckon he's using drop Db for both guitars with an octave pedal like on lordfarquadzilla but that jazzmaster sounds sick as

@@benjaminbiles5429 oh yeah that gojira one is a beast, its actually the only plugin that I can get that near perfect muri tone on
@@KellyKachowski me too dude! It's been my go-to in the past. Recently switched to plini when I got the hog pedal which made it sound pretty close.
love it :,)
HELL YEA BORTHER!!!
I just played in Eb standard for my cover and cheated with an octaver lmao
Excellent cover man! I think pretty much anyone would have to use an octave pedal of some sort. My long scale baritone was gonna be way too wobbly.
I love how prominent the Hog sounds tho.
Btw I did a cover of Corn Fed Yetis too, waiting for your take!
How the christ did you get Neural DSP Gojira to sound that meaty? When I use it, sounds paper thin haha
