Hi there, I had my car BMW 635 with M57 engine, in the garage to remove the swirl flaps, so basicly they blanked them exacly as you did in the video above. However, at first i didn't notice anything wrong with the car as i was driving it slow. but, after few days i was trying to play around with the car and rev it and i notice the engine struggling between gears and it feels like a power loss. basicly when i press the accelerate a bit harder, the car just trying to build up the speed but very slow, when before deleting the swirl flaps...the car shift down a gear and the revs goes up to 3000 RPM or more in order to build the speed much faster...but now just nothing. Any advice on this and what i should do? I heard that no everyone have the same problem after swirl flaps remove but, there are quite a lot of cars which are facing the same problem as mine and i don't really understant why is this happening. Unfortunately mate I just got mine off a friend so I couldn't honestly tell you. But I'm quite sure that if you searched for bmw e61 525d blanking plates you could find them there.

Just wonder what size you ordered as there are 3 different sizes, 22, 32 and 33mm swirl flaps delete kit , i have the same engine

I have a 2006 Mercedes A-Class A160 diesel with about 60k miles on it. I hope the inside of mine is okay haha

Hi ,i just removed swirlps ,everythinks seems fine ,same aceleration ,but my mpg got much worse... Any suggestions where to look at ? .Thx
