Standard procedure: like it, then watch it. Pretty sure that's gonna be an awesome video! Edit: I wasn't wrong, awesome video and getting even better every time. Drilling out that stripped thread, rebuilding the calipers, getting the car stuck... and unstuck.. everything was in there, loved it! Keep 'em coming! As I work with engine oils pretty much every day, I want to make a recommendation: M57 engines, especially high mileage ones, run best on 5W-40 oils. They do work with 5W-30 too, but as BMW also allows 5W-40 with the LL-04 spec, I recommend you go for one of those. The 40 grade oils tend to provide higher oil pressure when the engine is really hot which is quite useful especially with 300k and more on the bearings :) Drive safe and have fun!
I have a 2011 X3/F25 30d with 251,000 km, and use now 5w30, but I have also thought about 5w40, but if I don't loose "any" oil, I think I can go on using 5w30. But if I loose some oil, it would be harmful for the catalytic converter/DPF, which is not ideal... Let say for the EGR system and intake manifold.
I only now saw the edit, thanks for the advice, I will definitely make sure to check it out try using 5w-40 in the next oil change😊 It’s very inspiring that people that work with cars for a living enjoy my content😃✌️
Had the same problem with caliper seals. Sometimes if you're lucky it will go in nicely by poking around. Although it is more likely it will not and you will destroy the seal. Try finding a correct size pvc pipe or anything else plastic. One can also tape the ends of the pipe to be extra cautious. Then press the seal onto the groove with for example piston compressing tool.
@@EMSGARAGEE61 Good luck, you'll figure it out. Probably original ate seals fit better (that is they only require poking around, not pressing in the edge) but the price difference and low availability is not really worth it imo.

oh and the strut bearings i did because i didnt have them when i was doing the springs, just good with a refresh after 335k km since they were original parts, the same goes to the wheel bearing, they were still ok,
My e91 still has genuine BMW suspension with 322000 km on the clock and guess what! Bushings, control arms are TRW with BMW stamped on them. So TRW’s must be good.🤠
Dude, EURODEL is verry good. I used to ranch a lot, but scared to go BMW. But LOVE the brand.... maybe U will be my insparation. Much love to EMS Garage. That ring is PAIN IN THE ASS to fit, special when the caliper is on the car. May I ask with color brand used to paint the calipers. Thx

Please change the caliper springs that you painted, they need to be changed every 48 months. I change them with every rotor change. The pads will wear down more even
