I had to come back and comment this 80% asleep. I had to bring a friend of mine to the hospital tonight because he randomly felt really sick and his oxygen saturation was 90% and he really didn’t look good. I immediately went into care taker mode as did my fiance and my friends girlfriend. It stressed me out SO and I had been cleaning my whole apartment before then so I’ve just been on overdrive. I could feel my pulse in my back and it was keeping me from sleeping. After listening to this twice, my pulse feels better. I’m on time #3 or 4, but it’s working so well. Thank you so much❤

That's how panic attacks work or anxiety attacks they come out of no where sometimes you think you're having a heart attack but no and another thing if you're having a heart attack your heart beat doesn't beat faster like when you get scared it starts getting slower and start having pains but yea with panic attacks just try to breath and focus on something else because if you keep thinking you're having a heart attack or you're dying you make it worse

My blood pressure is normal, but for the past four months, I've experienced anxiety with a heart rate consistently over 100. While breathing exercises offered temporary relief, I found lasting relief through prayer and confessing bible verses that encourage fearlessness in Jesus, which has significantly helped me and benefit those experiencing similar challenges.

I tend to carry anxiety in my chest. I found it helpful to lay on my belly on my bed, so that my chest could get some pressure, as I did the breathing exercises. It helped quite a bit!

I’m not gonna lie this saved my life.. I have no Idea why but ever sine I’d, say I was 14, i would always bite and and pick at my tongue till it was red and sore, some times till it was a bloody mess.. I couldn’t help it for some reason it was like sometime I wouldn’t even realize I was doing it’s like I was in a trance.. i don’t know crazy stuff I’d kick the habit for a while but it would eventually come back. Then I decide to look up if anyone else had this and I’m not the only apparently it’s from stress and anxiety so I came across this video and watched the whole thing I slowly felt the feeling of the urge to pick and chew at my tongue fade away I was shocked my tongue has felt this good in a long time.. I guess I’d always stress cz I’d always have a uncomfortable feeling at the tip of my tongue, god bless this video 🙏🏽🍀

was having a bit of a panic attack on the train from accumulated stress, being a bit stoned, 2 coffees and generally having chronic anxiety lol and this really helped. i took some diazepam as well but I truly think this helped more, helped me focus on something other than my clammy hands, crazy fast heatbeat, nausea and the fact that i'm on public transport surrounded by ppl lol. the train ride is 20 mins so I'm on my second watch rn ! thank you for this, so simple yet so effective x

How do you calm a racing heart?
An individual can stimulate the vagus nerve with vagal maneuvers,
    which include:
    - Holding the breath and pushing down, as though having a bowel movement (Valsalva maneuver)
    - Placing ice or a cold, damp towel on the face for a few seconds.
    - Splashing cold water on the face.
    - Chanting “ Om “
    - Blowing through an occluded straw.
How to slow heart rate down fast?
Simple but specific actions such as coughing, bearing down as if passing stool or putting an ice pack on the face can help slow down the heart rate. Your healthcare team may ask you to do these specific actions during an episode of a fast heartbeat. The actions affect the vagus nerve.
