    It is a part of home remedies to lower heart rate without meds. This breathing exercise helps to lower pulse immediately. It also helps to lower blood pressure. This deep breathing exercise includes 4 minutes of breathing with 4 second inhales and 8 second exhales.     THIS VIDEO WORKS EVERY BODY DONATING PLASMA!!!! I was having the exact problems donating plasma at Octapharma. I practiced these techniques today and passed them with flying colors. I randomly failed one time before and ever since I get super nervous with anxiety.My pulse will go up tremendously with anticipation of passing.     I donate plasma regularly but I have high pulse and BP due to my medications I’m on. I have tried other videos to help lower these numbers and this is the only video that has helped me. Last time I was able to get my heart rate from 121 to 98!!

      Same. Mines is about 70 at home. When I go for plasma it's like 120. Really frustrating.
      I think it's because I'm scared of needles or nervous I won't pass

    This worked so well! I’m at a platelet donation center and I was driving so my pulse was 109. They don’t take pulses over 100. I did this and it lowered! And I feel so much more relaxed!

      Thanks! If you need to raise your blood pressure or heart rate temporarily you should breather with longer inhales and very short exhales. Essentially the opposite when you need to lower BP & heart where you have shorter inhales and longer exhales

    This works I went 3 times to donate and my pulse was always between 110 to 116. The first time I tried this I got 99 which was just good enough you have to be 100 or under. The second time I got 100 which was also good. I hate needles and have anxiety so even to get 99 shows this works.😊

    I can fully breathe in for the time given. But i cannot breathe out for the whole time. I feel like i have not got enough in me. I can only breathe out as long as the breathe in. Is that a problem? I have been really worried about this!

      Generally speaking, slower & deeper breathing pattern (both inhales and exhales) are a sign of a healthier body. Obviously there are many nuances there which are better to discuss with your doctor. I would recommend to start from popular breathing exercises like 4 sec inhale and 6 sec exhale and develop from there.     I have bad anxiety yesterday my heart rate went down to 33 and got me really scared. Does this happen to anxiety patients?

      Heart rate changes happen to everybody. Usually during anxiety heart rate accelerates. If you think that your heart rate really dropped to 33 BPMs, I definitely recommend to discuss it with your doctor

      Exactly, at the doctor's office they always take your blood pressure right away and you're not even relaxed at all. Plus they don't have your arm at Heart level😮

    Add me to the list of plasma donors for who this has been a godsend for. I have to bike everywhere and it used to take me a good half hour or more for my heart rate to come down to what I needed it to be after biking there to now taking only about 10 minutes.

    Thank you it did lower my heart rate to 48. But why did my blood pressure went up to 165/90? Before breathing it was 145/82.

    What type diet do you eat to help with your high blood pressure?

      Hi Bruce, thanks for your question. When I was diagnosed with high blood pressure 10 years ago I immediately cut foods high in saturated fats (i.e, hamburgers) and sugars (i.e. pastry). Together with moderate aerobic exercise and calming techniques (i.e. meditation) it helped me to bring BP into the normal range within a year. Three years ago I started doing fasting. Either 24 hour fasting couple times per month or 16 hour fasting daily for most days. 9 months ago I became a vegetarian and also stopped eating wheat breads. All these changes help me to feel better and perform both physically and mentally better than 10 years ago. You can check videos on fasting and my home bread recipe on my channel for more details.       Plant based is also quite nice since body produce cholesterol needed and we require 0 cholesterole form dead animals or their secretions.
      unclugged arteries help blood pressure, ironic to do exercise over unhealthy blood system we nuked with junk food :(

    Lowered my heart rate from 130 to 100 in just few min. Try not to think about your heart rate too much or it won’t work.

    Give us instruction without app what app can do when my heart rate goes up to 150 while in rest. Also i have high blood pressure butg doctors says its stress related not heart damages. I use beta bkockers but very often my heart rate goes 130-150 while in rest even when i wake up or while in sleeping the high heart rate wakes me up because i can feel heart beeping are above normal.this is insane and all this started after covid and vaccination with Pfizer

    It did not work for me, but I will contact to try. I have been trying to lower my heart rate years now. I have smart watches and pulseometers but I can't seem to get the heart rate to drop to help me sleep
