The bassist is restrained in just the right moments against the textural complexity of the guitar. And the drummer…he kind of makes this trio a quartet. Excellent synergy
god damn this is so tight. best instrumental metal album in a LONG time. honestly, made the Russian Circles and pelican releases this year do nothing for me...you guys have ruined the genre in the best way. keep it up, guitar work has so much feeling and the drummer is just insane. great use of the pads too
I know "From the Gallery" is at least somewhat intentionally instrumental, but you guys should talk to Daniel Tompkins or Siddharth Basrur. Both of these people sing (actually "SING") over progressive, djent-like metal. Check out "Guiding Lights" by Skyharbor, or "Resurfaces" by Goddess Gagged. Tompkins might be too busy with TesseracT, but I think Basrur is just working on some solo stuff right now, because two members of GG are in Skyharbor now. It'd be a good time to hit up a fellow pro that probably would jive with you.
Night Verses really don't get the recognition they deserve!
You guys rule, hope you're planning another album, because FTGOS is a masterpiece :)
Come on people, spread the word! This music deserves millions of views! 🤟
All these years later, still so goddamn stellar.
Man, this is so cool. Didn't know the drummer did all the synths and samples live, that is amazing!
My favourite album ever made! The lack of lyrics leaves the music open to interpretation and that’s magical 💙

I just discovered you guys and holy shit. You guys are really fucking amazing.
Yo guys, this band is in another level, definitely. Congratulations for this awesome work, full of talent. Hugs from Spain!!
A wonder! A source of inspiration every time I listen or see Aric Improta play! Thank you for this beautiful moment 🤘😍🤘

4:09 bro is a magician on the axe, I have no idea what he did to achieve that sound!
It’s an arpeggio created by a pedal

I mean they had a vocalist. I feel like their music works a lot better instrumental.
Yeea...no lol they finally don't have vocals and there's no reason to bring them back at all
So are all 704 of us going to jump the one guy who disliked it or what?😂
The bass levels need to be turned up.
This album has some of the most audible bass I've heard in a long time, your not listening right lols
you need to stop listening on phone speakers
i don't want to play drums anymore....
What eunuch down voted this?
Who's here because of Bitwit say down below V . V
With the right vocalist you guys would be the next Tool, yet way more evolved. Kind of how Tool reminded me of a heavily evolved Pink Floyd.
They had a vocalist, but he left, and in my opinion, they're MUCH better without him.
